- Hello everyone! It really feels like forever, especially because I have accidentally erased last weeks vlog video!! Sad times! I am not sure what happened but it is gone forever wahhh !(っ °Д °;)っ So it is odd but really fitting when I talk about dealing with disappointments and failures in todays vlog. I also share a sketchbook tour! :) it has some really fun drawings that give you an idea of the journey I went through to get to my art style I have today.

One of thing you might do is place your "I take credit cards" sign by your higher priced items. ... Sometimes I see something I want, but remember that I don't have cash... A credit card sign right there might tempt me... I might not make the connection if the sign was else where. I know your shop is small but more than one sign wouldn't hurt as some small venders don't take credit cards. 💖🌞🌵😷 Ps. Congratulations on the new reader! It will make a difference!🎉🎉🎉

Why do you have to have only one style? I love the things you take to market. That style is so endearing especially if you enjoy it. ... But for people, pet and house portraits your clients might want a more realistic style as well as a caricature style. ... The reason I say this is because you are very talented. I can do and enjoy the caricature style, but I can't be in the same room as your realistic stuff. Don't limit yourself. But do the style that you enjoy. ... I probably could do realistic stuff, but I don't enjoy it, because it's an effort. I know... Like any skill it takes practice, but I'd enjoy knocking off several fun pieces more than one piece that seems like a chore. You do you and really enjoy your work. Pray about it and let God direct you. Follow his path and he will bring clients to your door... Maybe even Target or Walmart! 💖🌞🌵😷

@@Lorajeansmagazine, here's an example... Trent said, he usually doesn't like to take commissions because the client can mandate the subject and maybe even the style to the point it's not enjoyable. But he said that he's been blessed with clients lately that have been really good to work with. I see that as God's hand. 💖🌞🌵😷
@@Lorajeansmagazine, like I said there's no reason to set boundaries. The realistic art may keep life interesting by challenging you, but there's nothing more satisfying than sitting down in an afternoon and turning out 4 or 5 really cute paper-maché boxes. 💖🌞🌵😷
@@suzisaintjames I really enjoy putting details into my art sculptures of my papier-mâché girls, I haven’t made one for years, but every so often I’ll make another one.😊 I’ll def share when i do 😊😊😊

Oh my gosh, you are so talented !! I love that book you made and how you have worked on your drawing skills in it. What a treasure to have !!! I would absolutely love to see other work you have done !! I found this video to be so inspiring. I am in the middle of getting my studio cleaned out and organized so I can create again.
I find it so incredible how you can take care of your family and find a way to create as well. I was never able to balance our four kids and art and that is when my writing and drawing pretty much stopped. Even though the youngest is 31, I never truely got back to it.
Are you self taught is that what the notebooks are , you learning on your own ? You mentioned a bit about that in the video. You have created a true brand, unique and fun illustrations that are so cute !!!I am still watching your older videos to get caught up, but this popped up on my feed so I wanted to watch it !!!

Thank you❤️😋! I have so many sketch book that go back all the way to high school 😋 so I mayny sketchbooks that I might have a video series on my hands 🙌. It is really a balance to work on my creations and being a mom of 5 it was really hard in summer especially, but during school it is very easy actually. I basically stop after they’re all home 🏠 thanks so much for all of your support 😌😌
