I was there. It was a beautiful service with many great personal stories from friends and family and lots of beautiful music from Miss Cole. The pastor of this mega church I didn't care for. He kept calling out stars names and telling them to stand up and clearly most did not want to. The pastor from Natalie's church which was a much smaller church was great. This footage was after the service. The person that got on my nerves the most was Jackay from the show 227. She was in every star's face trying to take selfies. Otherwise, beautiful service.
RIP Natalia Cole 😢 she had changed for the better and she'd changed the world for the better through her Beautiful writing of inspiring songs and singing but unfortunately, her early wild days came back to bite her with a vengeance and no one foreseen it coming and with much Grace she transitioned to heaven a better place and now she's at rest and peace with her loving father, "Nat King Cole" and what we all have left to treasure is her precious memories and her loving legacy to always love one another and be inspired and go after all of our dreams. 🌹 And yes, She's Gone but not forgotten. Amen 🙏
Looks like anyone could have came to pay their respect and condolences. Stars are no different than those who live in the average communities. Hollywood dress them up, but at the end of their life their no different. Its all vanity, RIP Natalie you were one of the greatest.
+Venice Bradford It was open to the public. Anybody could have went. Even though they did separate the family & entertainers from the general public inside the venue.
Well, we ALL START and END the same way. DEATH is the great equalizer, an unfortunate humbler, of sorts. What we do in the middle of those two things, is the only thing that makes us different from one another...
Awful to see her go. Sad that the world kinda passed her by after she died. People were more focused on Bowie etc. Not sure if its a race thing. But anyway, I loved her and I'm white. RIP Natalie.
Jessie probably whispering to Lionel, "say look here Ritchie, you got a couple of dollas you can let me hold, these bitches got me jammed up on child support". 'Just kiddin!!
I think they all should have had their privacy but as you can see people were talking all around them and Lionel loves his privacy but he will talk to the fans
+james lee Probably because they all knew she was sick and she wanted everyone to celebrate her life instead of mourning....but I see so many that came to pay their respect. I just wished the camera wasn't so close to their conversations. Alot of time when you see ppl at funerals you are sad, but you are so happy to see ppl that you only get to see every once and a blue moon and you try to fit in everything. Rest Ms. Cole, REST!
+james lee It wasn't a really sad funeral. At some points it was .But it carried her fun loving spirit mostly. I didn't see Natalie's son cry not once. Lionel'S speech there was the BEST! He is so humble & truthful
+sinti frankfurt Well actually your right on both...culturally speaking, most African Americans act like this after funerals. We view it as a celebration of life and we know that our dearly departed loved one would want us to be happy and joyful, even on the day of the funeral.
Lionel was so gracious. Those people knew that they should not have taken advantage of Mr. Ritchie, or any other celebrity for that matter, for a photo op. That's tacky and embarrassing.
Non, sembra proprio un funerale, ma un merdaio., magari con l'arrivo di un altro cantante o attore, si anima ulteriormente, la "festa", complimenti. R. I. P. Natalie.
I loved Natalie Cole!
Natalie would want everyone to be happy she was a wonderful person.

Not sure what your point about Bowie here is? Remember when Farrah Fawcett died?? Nah me neither, because a bigger celeb died the same day as her
Nobody gives a shit if you're green. Quit trying to race-bait over the death of two celebs.

That has to be so irritating and the timing could not have be worse. I understand that they're fans but damn! smh
Lionel was so gracious. Those people knew that they should not have taken advantage of Mr. Ritchie, or any other celebrity for that matter, for a photo op. That's tacky and embarrassing.
That lady with the dominos likes shrimps
me, I would have hugged Timolin and Casey, and planted a kiss on Natalie's forehead saying goodbye. Yes, Jessie needs to sit down.
jeff Craven you're not supposed to kiss the dead. smh
Real Man,I kissed my Adopted mother on the head, because I knew that I would not see her again.

half these are on lookers
Seems Lionel was more important!!!

I know, Sinti....they're being disrespectful & self-centered, I think. I mean, they could show more respect to Natalie.
I find offensive to Natalie Cole.
🇧🇷
Are people, 🥃

You would think they were attending a party..............no respect at all. Just all wanna be seen for the exposure
