These 90's Romantic Comedies were Hilarious and even when they took on Dark Themes and Topical Subjects. That's why this Film Bombed in the Box Office, Because it was too Real and Americans don't understand Dark Situational Comedy and Comedy of Circumstances and Bad Behavior, these Themes were Very Present in British and French Comedy and in Canadian Comedy, which is usually very Dark and Bizarre and Focuses on People's Weird Behavior and Quirks and tries to Understand them. So, Topics of Suicide and Depression were not off limits in Independent Films, where you could make a Film about any Subject you wanted without Censorship. And this was the American Independent Film Movement of the 1990's, and Many Romantic Comedies even took on Dark and Controversial Themes, not like today where everyone is a Pussy and afraid of Cancellation.
Any Film that has both Sarah Jessica Parker and Ben Stiller is a Classic in my Book.
This premise is astonishing, and the fact that it is completely sincere makes it even better
