I just received these this week (great sale on Amazon - $30 off!) I followed the instructions for placing in-ear. They sounded hollow and ANC was worthless despite feeling a seal. I think it is the direction of the drivers in my ears. Anyway, I took them out and put them in my own way, and the sound was spectacular! And suddenly the ANC was impressive. It knocked out the sound of my fan nearly completely, and better than my Jaybird Vista 2 and my Jabra Elite Active 75T (left bud not working right now.) If you get the right fit these are awesome. I am impressed with the transparency mode so far too... the best out of the ones I have. I will use these around the house and the Jaybirds will be for workouts with their rock-solid fit.
@@ahmadmustaqim7960 No. I find it pretty easy to put them in a way that suits my ears. Even when I do need to make an adjustment, the sound hadn't suffered like the first time I tried them on. Lots of people believe there's a burn-in period with Sennheiser products, maybe there was a little of that too
And today I just got the sony earbuds xm4 and man!!! That 360 sound is amazing I'm very happy with my purchase all thanks to flossy Carter and the white shoes
I got these today for 130$ on sale for green Monday. They definitely did not disappoint exactly the sound that I was looking for a warm balanced sound with some bass in it. I mostly listen to hip hop, rap, pop, r&b and these have been great for those genres so far. Flossy did not disappoint as well standards were high once I saw the review and they were met.
Damn the fact that the beats made it in the top 10 says a lot! And honestly when I saw the beats I was wondering if I should try Them out, But I'm like addicted I have quite a few pairs of earbuds already and I'm definitely getting the B&O next ! If it wasn't my wife's birthday and I didn't have to get her the apple watch 6 I would have those in my ears right now hahaha

I put the Comply Plus tips on the regular Sennheiser CX, they sound even better than before. Plenty of noise blocking, but no transparency. Comply+ tips make a big difference, especially in the bass.

I have tried both CX and CX Plus and I can safely say they nailed the CX Plus base boost compared to CX. Bass is a clean rumble and doesn’t feel muddy like CX.
Hi, I'm planning to buy the CX plus but I also saw that momentum 2 are only a few dollars up, any recommendation?, TWM2 are 2 years old but top of the line, while CXplus are brand new and somehow similar to M2. I care mostly of the sound, but i also wanted multipoint connection and it seems CXplus doesn't have it. Oh, btw, have you slept with these, how's the comfort while runninig or while resting?
@@fernandomigueliquizaramire6469 I don’t have mtw2 but i can vouch for you I’m fully satisfied with how comfortable CX plus is and the sound is very open especially for rock genres. It can almost beat my more expensive Sony XM4s. I use it everyday and only complaint I got is the multi point connection. I mean it’s not that necessary tbh.

Actually, I understand that MTW2 and also Sony XM4s don't have independent earbuds, at most you can only use right earbud only because that's the master earbud. From what I read this doesn't happen with CX plus, where you can use either left or right earbud not simultaneously and are fully independent(while charging one for example), ¿would you please confirm that?, I had that feature on the tronsmart spunky beats, cheap ones but with great features like that. Oh and I think multipoint is not quite a "must" in my case, my only concern is the audio and the previous question, I have other sennheisers and they are crystal clear audio and so reliable (almost 5 years and no issues nor cracks/dents so far).

I ask these questions because the momentum tw2 had both of these problems and I had to return them. The volume on them was low, and the fit hurt my ears so if anyone has them please let me know if they fixed these problems because I love the sound on these
CX PLUS ARE SMALLER - I just got them in and put a caliper on them versus the CX400BT and CX... The plus are 1.5mm less tall in height, doesn't sound like a lot but they are much more comfortable for long sessions than the previous CX. No review has stated this yet so please pin this comment. Holy shit. As a guy who worked as a chef for a decade my butthole puckered into itself when you used a knife to slice that tiny piece of tape directly towards your hand after you already missed going the other way.

This is just my opinion, but I paid $59 for a pair of Anker Soundcore Space A40 earbuds as compared to paying $130 for the Sennheiser CX Plus earbuds and after comparing both, I'll take the Soundcore Space A40 hands down. Not only are they a good value and affordable, the sound quality is amazing. The Soundcore app makes it easy to find the best possible sound for your personal taste. The Sennheiser CX Plus are priced too high , especially for people who work at lower paying jobs which seems to be the norm these days. Again, this is just my opinion. Would like to hear on one more aspect for all your earbud reviews, and these Senns in particular, and that's COMFORT. I realized all of our ears are a little bit different, but how do they FEEL for you? Could you wear them for 3 hours, comfortably? That's what I need to know. Had to return the JBL 300TWS (which you had given a go) because they were so uncomfortable for me. Happy with the Jabra Elite 75t buds (another Flossy "go"), which for my budget are the best all-around earbuds with good sound, good call quality, and excellent comfort--except the software-upgraded ANC is not effective, they do not cancel out noise effectively. So I'm looking for some buds with great ANC that are just as comfortable and as good or better sound quality as the Jabras. Not TGH $$$$ though. These Senns look a little similar to the JBL 300TWS buds with the "weighty" square on the outside, that's why I think the comfort or lack thereof might be similar.
My boy Flossy killed me on these. I thought the hype was real but the ANC is almost not even there. My 50 dollar Soundpete T2's I lost had way better ANC and about the same sound with no app. I thought these would be a step up but looks like I'm sending these back and still on the hunt for the perfect budz.
As always, The Flossy is the man. If you had to choose between the CX and the CX Plus mainly for phone calls, whiיch one would you go with? More worried about outside noise during phone calls. The CX is going for $99 now. Looking forward to hearing from you. Give my love to white shoes.

I've had galaxy bud plus earbuds for a long time now and loved them unfortunately they fell out of the case then out of my pocket at work and now I'm looking at buying a new pair of earbuds. These are definitely up there on that list. Hopefully they're as good or better than my galaxy buds were I really liked those.
Yo Floss... On the strength of your killer reviews, I've purchased 1 of your very few quad major gos, Powerbeats pro, Senny momentum 1&2 and also the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro. I gotta say after going back and listening to them both. The Liberty 2 Pro is holding serve with the momentum 1 very close at 2nd then the momentum 2 and the beats coming last. I'm speaking musically on the audiophile side of things. The Liberty 2 Pro... Still wowing me, loud, powerful, and super detailed. Anyway no ANC but they eliminate lots of noise naturally. I never buy any phone, earbuds, or headphones without watching a flossy review. I lost the case for my Samsung galaxy buds 2 so now I'm looking for another earbud because I can't be using a headphone all the time. After this review I'm definitely gonna get the Sennheiser cx plus.

I get the ear problem, it fits better than most of the past earbuds I had but I sometimes feel the need to rub my ears after like an hour duration which I never had to do with previous earbuds. For the low volume, it sounds fine for me on iPhone, it’s loud enough i guess.

Only problem I got is the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s are $200 right now. The CX Plus’s are $180. We already know they don’t sound as good as the Momentum 2’s and I’m damn sure the ANC sure as hell is not as good. So honestly If I’m not coming close to $100 let alone $200 I’m goin for the Edifier TWS1’s for clean sound and compact base. Grab you some Spintips and the base hits quick and hard. Even with the stock tips if they fit right, the base is quick, compact but isn’t like a subwoofer with the rumble. you want nice bass and still quite good sound go with the Earfun Free 2’s. You want even more bass but with a little less clarity but still amazing for under or around $50 go with the SoundPeats Sonic’s. Those are all under $50 and are very good True Wireless earbuds. The TWS1 Pro hands down sound the best. The TWS1 Pros I’d put up with the green bar or them in clarity and sound, but if need that bass for the songs that need it, gotta have it then go with one of the The other to. If you’re gonna even think about a headphone above $100 close to $200 or more I’m going Sennheiser Momentum 2’s all day long. I’m sure they will have a new flagship earbud coming soon but probably back up around the $400 mark. The Senn Momentum 2’s are at $200 right now. I’d go with those hands down if u loookin for the best sound and need amazing ANC. You want great sound, not as good as the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s but you NEED the best ANC, go with the Sony XM4’s. Idk why Sennheiser even came out with these tbh because the Momentum’s are $20 more right now. It’s a no brainer to go with the Senn Momentum 2’s if you’re even thinking about spending $180. I’ve had the Senn Momentum 2’s for almost 2 years. Picked up the Sony XM4’s, actually broke my Momentum 2’s and at over 2 years old now that they are half the pride atm, I scooped another pair of the Momentum’s til Sennheiser comes out with their new flagship earbud. When I’m home chilling I find myself using the Momentum 2’s or the Edifier TWS1’s for clarity, the Earfun free 2’s if I want some extra base. Those 3 headphones u can’t lose unlesss u absolutely want or need the best ANC there is and with that I’d suggest, like I said the Sony XM4’s priced at 279.99, but they also sound great. I and most others still agree the Sennheiser’s sound better but some people disagree and their are apps on android to even enhance the sound on the Sony’s. 👋

This is just my opinion, but I paid $59 for a pair of Anker Soundcore Space A40 earbuds as compared to paying $130 for the Sennheiser CX Plus earbuds and after comparing both, I'll take the Soundcore Space A40 hands down. Not only are they a good value and affordable, the sound quality is amazing. The Soundcore app makes it easy to find the best possible sound for your personal taste. The Sennheiser CX Plus are priced too high , especially for people who work at lower paying jobs which seems to be the norm these days. Again, this is just my opinion. Would like to hear on one more aspect for all your earbud reviews, and these Senns in particular, and that's COMFORT. I realized all of our ears are a little bit different, but how do they FEEL for you? Could you wear them for 3 hours, comfortably? That's what I need to know. Had to return the JBL 300TWS (which you had given a go) because they were so uncomfortable for me. Happy with the Jabra Elite 75t buds (another Flossy "go"), which for my budget are the best all-around earbuds with good sound, good call quality, and excellent comfort--except the software-upgraded ANC is not effective, they do not cancel out noise effectively. So I'm looking for some buds with great ANC that are just as comfortable and as good or better sound quality as the Jabras. Not TGH $$$$ though. These Senns look a little similar to the JBL 300TWS buds with the "weighty" square on the outside, that's why I think the comfort or lack thereof might be similar.

My boy Flossy killed me on these. I thought the hype was real but the ANC is almost not even there. My 50 dollar Soundpete T2's I lost had way better ANC and about the same sound with no app. I thought these would be a step up but looks like I'm sending these back and still on the hunt for the perfect budz.

I've had galaxy bud plus earbuds for a long time now and loved them unfortunately they fell out of the case then out of my pocket at work and now I'm looking at buying a new pair of earbuds. These are definitely up there on that list. Hopefully they're as good or better than my galaxy buds were I really liked those.
Yo Floss... On the strength of your killer reviews, I've purchased 1 of your very few quad major gos, Powerbeats pro, Senny momentum 1&2 and also the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro. I gotta say after going back and listening to them both. The Liberty 2 Pro is holding serve with the momentum 1 very close at 2nd then the momentum 2 and the beats coming last. I'm speaking musically on the audiophile side of things. The Liberty 2 Pro... Still wowing me, loud, powerful, and super detailed. Anyway no ANC but they eliminate lots of noise naturally. Go back and check those joints out B. As a longtime member of Floss's Flock, I salute you my brother... Keep Killin'em...

I never buy any phone, earbuds, or headphones without watching a flossy review. I lost the case for my Samsung galaxy buds 2 so now I'm looking for another earbud because I can't be using a headphone all the time. After this review I'm definitely gonna get the Sennheiser cx plus.

Theyre still amazing(TWM2) as hell got them for like £150 as well which is a steal considering it was double that price.
@@requitalta1972 if you have these can you tell me if they aren’t are comfortable(like you can wear them for a long time without ear fatigue or that ear pain after you wear them for a long time), are they loud? I ask these questions because the momentum tw2 had both of these problems and I had to return them. The volume on them was low, and the fit hurt my ears so if anyone has them please let me know if they fixed these problems because I love the sound on these
@@nibbax7772 I don’t have CX Plus but i do have TWM2. I get the ear problem, it fits better than most of the past earbuds I had but I sometimes feel the need to rub my ears after like an hour duration which I never had to do with previous earbuds. For the low volume, it sounds fine for me on iPhone, it’s loud enough i guess.

Only problem I got is the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s are $200 right now. The CX Plus’s are $180. We already know they don’t sound as good as the Momentum 2’s and I’m damn sure the ANC sure as hell is not as good. So honestly If I’m not coming close to $100 let alone $200 I’m goin for the Edifier TWS1’s for clean sound and compact base. Grab you some Spintips and the base hits quick and hard. Even with the stock tips if they fit right, the base is quick, compact but isn’t like a subwoofer with the rumble. you want nice bass and still quite good sound go with the Earfun Free 2’s. You want even more bass but with a little less clarity but still amazing for under or around $50 go with the SoundPeats Sonic’s. Those are all under $50 and are very good True Wireless earbuds. The TWS1 Pro hands down sound the best. The TWS1 Pros I’d put up with the green bar or them in clarity and sound, but if need that bass for the songs that need it, gotta have it then go with one of the The other to. If you’re gonna even think about a headphone above $100 close to $200 or more I’m going Sennheiser Momentum 2’s all day long. I’m sure they will have a new flagship earbud coming soon but probably back up around the $400 mark. The Senn Momentum 2’s are at $200 right now. I’d go with those hands down if u loookin for the best sound and need amazing ANC. You want great sound, not as good as the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s but you NEED the best ANC, go with the Sony XM4’s. Idk why Sennheiser even came out with these tbh because the Momentum’s are $20 more right now. It’s a no brainer to go with the Senn Momentum 2’s if you’re even thinking about spending $180. I’ve had the Senn Momentum 2’s for almost 2 years. Picked up the Sony XM4’s, actually broke my Momentum 2’s and at over 2 years old now that they are half the pride atm, I scooped another pair of the Momentum’s til Sennheiser comes out with their new flagship earbud. When I’m home chilling I find myself using the Momentum 2’s or the Edifier TWS1’s for clarity, the Earfun free 2’s if I want some extra base. Those 3 headphones u can’t lose unlesss u absolutely want or need the best ANC there is and with that I’d suggest, like I said the Sony XM4’s priced at 279.99, but they also sound great. I and most others still agree the Sennheiser’s sound better but some people disagree and their are apps on android to even enhance the sound on the Sony’s. 👋
