My unbiased review of the iOptron GEM28 #notsponsored Song: Near x Far - Not Enough [NCS Release] Music provided by NoCopyrightSounds Free Download/Stream: NCS.io/NotEnough Watch: youtu.be/
thank you for a great honest review. You mention at 4.01 that it needs a 120 volt power source - but only when using the original stock "wall wart" power supply.. maybe it might have been good to mention at that time that the mount it self only needs 12 volts DC? They used to include an adapter with most mounts to go into the cigarette lighter of a car to get 12 volts but cars nowadays don't have cigarette lighters. I'm so grateful now that we have good relatively inexpensive lithium power banks for this scenario 🙂
Nice review, I have a query, hope to get an answer from an expert like you. As mentioned in the spec sheet. The mount comes with a Wi-Fi connectivity feature. How can we utilize this and connect it to stellarium using a laptop and wirelessly control the mount. Thanks in advance.

Very nice 👍🏼. Amazing image.
Many thanks
I’m looking for a dedicated GoTo Mount for my TeleVue TV-76. This mount vs the Sky-Watcher HEQ5 Pro. Your thoughts? My TeleVue weighs 6 pounds.
Buy a skywatcher eqm-35 pro. It's cheaper and can still fit that scope and camera and accessories.
Is that big counterbalance ok with yours small setup?? Seems like quite heavy
My setup balances fine with the telescope, however if I am using just a camera and lens I balance with just the counterweight bar.
Why are there so many cob webs on your mount?
My landlord was requiring me to keep it outside of the house, and I failed to clean the spider webs off before recording.
nice work , what is your set up apart from the ioptron?

Judging by the cobwebs on it, you haven't used it much...
