I’m a big buyer of art books but I really want to see this one in hand before I buy it. As far as the legion builders, it’s the price point that does it for me. I do customize, but just having a cheaper figure available is a big plus for me. Would love to see a reissue of the single skeleton for this reason!
I am curious what your concern is? I get some people holding off because they don't collect art books, but as someone who is a big buyer of these, what is keeping you from preordering this one?
I agree that con exclusive parts should be bonuses that don’t really add anything supercool to the figure. However, the latest LegionsCon two packs are pure perfection precisely because of the extra parts 🤣
I know I'm waiting until the weekend to preorder the book, so I'm part of the problem. And I know it wasn't intentional and there are reasons the prices are the way they are but man the relative prices of the legion builder compared to the Armory Knights makes the preorder that much more attractive, I think.
I'm not a completionist, but I've bought from every wave since the first KS, including some all-ins. I know I'll probably have regrets over not getting the book, but it's offered at the same time as figure pre-orders, so I had to put that $ on more figures. I have all the different card backs, so I have Nate's art already, I follow Trevor so I've seen the photos, I'm just not sure what I need the book for.
There is a ton of written content in the book that is not available elsewhere, so that is one point. In the end, this is for someone who enjoy physcial media and wants a record of all this stuff to be able to hold and thumb through and read. The pictures and some of the info is certainly available digitally, but there is a huge difference followin Trevor online or visiting our website and holding a hardcover book in your hands with all those amazing images and content.
I wish i could get the green heroic knight with all different heads, was disappointed that the knights didn't come with extra head like some of the other figures, like the red shield soldier or the relic guard etc. I also wanted the book so bad, but I bought two of the 12 packs and went overboard on the Armory Knights even though I was upset they didn't come with extra heads. I am going to be bummed missing the book but don't think i can afford it due to buying too many figures, between Legions and star wars black series i am going broke lol.
So the expected wave shipment order after Necronominus is: All-Stars 6, OxKrewe 1, OxKrewe 2, and then Rising Sons? So there’s no way Rising Sons is shipping mid-2025 and most likely not in 2025 at all then, right?
Hey...great, new products, new lines....ummm. How about focusing your efforts on releasing the products myself and others have prepaid for. You push back and you push back. I'm losing patience.
I will gladly buy repaints of the Thraice head in any color combination you can give us. The sculpt is amazing.
Great passing of the Drybrush Episode 🔥 congrats Curtis.

We are still aiming to have Rising Sons out in 2025 and will update as we know more on that wave.
