I paid for my family, i bought alot stuffs for myself and for someone who im in love with. i can buy new phone, travel alot . but then, many things came up. i lost my job. my lover dumped me when i broken... money caused my stress, my everything. At the first time, i thought money can buy happiness. I can keep him , keep everyone around me and be with me. but don’t. My family has changed alot . I unemployed. I lost my health. My mental health went weak. I just sell something online and live . But , when im alone, im thinking about myself, my life. Money is EVIL... it can change everything. It made me feel bad. Im in sufferings right now.

I agree. My biggest regret was not spending time with my mom while she was still here. I was always busy with work and now she's gone. And I'll never be able to do the things we talked about. To say the things unsaid. Or just be with her. She was my world and now I feel broke;, cast a drift in the world. With no support, no in couragment and no one to tell me I am worth it. To never give up to try and make it.

That's why I don't want a job I would need a vacation from. I want to be free, not only at one place, I don't care if I have to give up internet or three meals a day or the "high standard life" I was born into. I want to see this world, I have only 80, maybe less years to do so and almost 17 of them are already gone. I want to remember all of these seemingly endless days instead of the chances I didn't take. Working my ass of to be able to retire at 50 instead of 68 or 70 won't do it, I don't want to lose this precious time, I want to spend it changing myself and those around me. I'd rather spend 40 or 50 years being actually alive and living instead of dying at 100 but never lived once for real.

It's so hard to live fully, freely, and without thought. School takes up 8 hours of my day. 8 hours learning stuff I will never use. 8 Hours that could've been spent actually living. Because sitting in a room being told how to think is not living. We weren't meant to do that, we were meant to live freely.

Full of projects and assignments given every weekends. weekends are the only days i can have. fun and rest but i get assignments. i can't skype with my friends and family in the other country because of anxiety on having a good grade. everytime i hangout with my bro on weekends, i dont go out happy, i go out nervous and always remember about assignments. and projects. also the deadline.

I have a passion inside of me and I don’t know what it is but I’m sure that I want to do something with it. I’m only twelve but I feel it burning inside of me . I wanna create something , stand out , be someone that people will remember . Or at least inspire people. I don’t wanna let that passion inside of me fade from extra homework, projects, exams, and just useless knowledge . I need a teacher that will teach me how to bring that fire inside of me on the outside . Someone who will look at me and believe in me and actually value me. But there's so much competition that you need to one up the next person to go anywhere so sacrificing a vacation day will help you beat out someone else looking for a promotion. Then they take a day or two to match you and then it just builds and builds and builds.

Oh man, this video broke me down. I mean hard too. This describes the past 25 years of my life. I took only one full vacation in all that time. I raised 4 kids on my own after a failed marriage. The almighty clock became my warden. I worked in the office and from home in IT wearing 2 pagers and was on call 24/7. I even got called in the office for an emergency on Christmas morning. I got laid off from IBM in August 2015. My father told me before he past away "Son, when you can you have to quit working and begin living. Life is too short." I never forgot those words. I am now moving on with my life. I want to really get to know the children which I have raised and watched grow up with really no quality time with me. If it's not too late I have to try to grasp my family and my life before it passes like a flash in time. Thank you for making this video. You have no idea how much this spoke to me.

You know you could say the same thing about school. We get only 10 days off from school, but I bet most people don't take off all of them. In fact you get a reward for going to school every weekday, and not even taking a day off if your sick, physically or mentally. Why would a teacher teach us to not be human? I'm showing this to my dad. My mom died when I was very young, and my dad works 24/7. It's like he almost doesn't want to spend time with me, his only child, the only thing that he has left, just to be buried in his stupid phone typing away. Every time I bring up why he spends so much time on his phone than on me, he always says the same thing. It's part of my job. Like don't you understand?? There's more to life than a mobile device. Scary to think that all you gotta do is take a leap and getaway but the one thing that can hold you back is your mind... You're in control of that no one or anything else is. I saw something only a few days ago that my girlfriend showed me; it said I want to sit there sharing memories of experiences not showing things that I've got. It's about the attitude you have in life and about taking your time to enjoy moments. Cause nobody HAS time but TAKES time to do things. It's up to you if you want to spend some more valuable dollars and take some more valuable days to go on a short trip to a never seen place over the weekend and enjoy these precious moments with your family and friends. Cause as Prince Ea said, you won't ever hold on to these moments but get a memory worth living for.
Yakita60 all you need money for is to pay for a roof over your head, basic amenities and food on your plate, so really you only need to work as much for the money you need for these things, the rest is free time, saldy most people fall into this corporate employment and are pretty much forced to work 5 days a week for 40+ hours for job security. people have just accepted that this is how it works, they've been told and conditioned into thinking that this is just how it goes. We live in an amazing day and age where its so easy to start up a small business, invest in things to earn a residual / passive income. They don't teach you these things in public school because they want you to be at work as much and long as possible, they don't want you out there not working and bringing in money. so the answer is yes money makes life much easier but you don't need to spend so much time working for it, or spending it on ridiculous phone bills, going in debt for fancy cars and clothes that aren't needed. you put yourself into where you are, you put yourself into that line of work that doesn't alow you to see new people or new things, plenty of jobs do let you do this. make a choice not just for the amount of money you're going to make at a job, but rather does this job give you enjoyment, fulfilment, does it let you take extended amounts of time away ect. think outside the box, BE outside the box

Despite having accrued vacation days, I still can't afford to take it. My job pays, gives me my wage, but I'm left feeling broke. Broke down, so tired that I need that break. But to take it may leave me in a worse state. Don't spend a dime on my vacation day, but I don't recharge; yet, to do more would force me to work twice as hard as I already do. Wearing me down, out, 'til I'm left wondering, "What's the point?" The poor get poorer as we work to live; but how much more do we have to give... to our superiors, our bosses... hell, our leaders of state. Those greedy fucks, paid for by big money, while us as the bottom crumble... forced to work to live and live to work.

I want to be free, not only at one place, I don't care if I have to give up internet or three meals a day or the "high standard life" I was born into. I want to see this world, I have only 80, maybe less years to do so and almost 17 of them are already gone. I want to remember all of these seemingly endless days instead of the chances I didn't take. Working my ass of to be able to retire at 50 instead of 68 or 70 won't do it, I don't want to lose this precious time, I want to spend it changing myself and those around me. I'd rather spend 40 or 50 years being actually alive and living instead of dying at 100 but never lived once for real.

I love the message and I agree that we should take our whole vacations....
But there's so much competition that you need to one up the next person to go anywhere so sacrificing a vacation day will help you beat out someone else looking for a promotion. Then they take a day or two to match you and then it just builds and builds and builds.
It's really sad we live in a world where the 'soul' purpose is to step on other people to make it to the top. If people could ditch the wants and desires for piles of stuff, we'd all be free. I think the simple solution is what makes it so tragic.
Oh man, this video broke me down. I mean hard too. This describes the past 25 years of my life. I took only one full vacation in all that time. I raised 4 kids on my own after a failed marriage. The almighty clock became my warden. I worked in the office and from home in IT wearing 2 pagers and was on call 24/7. I even got called in the office for an emergency on Christmas morning. I got laid off from IBM in August 2015. My father told me before he past away "Son, when you can you have to quit working and begin living. Life is too short." I never forgot those words. I am now moving on with my life. I want to really get to know the children which I have raised and watched grow up with really no quality time with me. If it's not too late I have to try to grasp my family and my life before it passes like a flash in time. Thank you for making this video. You have no idea how much this spoke to me.

You know you could say the same thing about school. We get only 10 days off from school, but I bet most people don't take off all of them. In fact you get a reward for going to school every weekday, and not even taking a day off if your sick, physically or mentally. Why would a teacher teach us to not be human? In fact I stayed at home instead of going to school today, and I didn't make up any excuses for why. I just needed it. I deserved it. And so do you.

Scary to think that all you gotta do is take a leap and getaway but the one thing that can hold you back is your mind... You're in control of that no one or anything else is. Life isn't and shouldn't be about constant work, that money needs to be spent on experiencing new things. I saw something only a few days ago that my girlfriend showed me; it said I want to sit there sharing memories of experiences not showing things that I've got. No one needs objects, they need emotions and stories to tell. This guy has a great way of expanding minds and I love that!

It's about the attitude you have in life and about taking your time to enjoy moments. Cause nobody HAS time but TAKES time to do things. It's up to you if you want to spend some more valuable dollars and take some more valuable days to go on a short trip to a never seen place over the weekend and enjoy these precious moments with your family and friends. Cause as Prince Ea said, you won't ever hold on to these moments but get a memory worth living for.
Yakita60 all you need money for is to pay for a roof over your head, basic amenities and food on your plate, so really you only need to work as much for the money you need for these things, the rest is free time, saldy most people fall into this corporate employment and are pretty much forced to work 5 days a week for 40+ hours for job security. people have just accepted that this is how it works, they've been told and conditioned into thinking that this is just how it goes. We live in an amazing day and age where its so easy to start up a small business, invest in things to earn a residual / passive income. They don't teach you these things in public school because they want you to be at work as much and long as possible, they don't want you out there not working and bringing in money. so the answer is yes money makes life much easier but you don't need to spend so much time working for it, or spending it on ridiculous phone bills, going in debt for fancy cars and clothes that aren't needed. you put yourself into where you are, you put yourself into that line of work that doesn't alow you to see new people or new things, plenty of jobs do let you do this. make a choice not just for the amount of money you're going to make at a job, but rather does this job give you enjoyment, fulfilment, does it let you take extended amounts of time away ect. think outside the box, BE outside the box

The poor get poorer as we work to live; but how much more do we have to give... to our superiors, our bosses... hell, our leaders of state. Those greedy fucks, paid for by big money, while us as the bottom crumble... forced to work to live and live to work.
