Some people argue that these UA-camrs that do random acts of kindness that it is just for money. All charities need money to operate and by our watching the UA-cam content they produce, we are in turn supporting their charitable work for those in need. I say, “Keep up the kind work!” It is not selfish. It is not meaningless. And it changes peoples lives and circumstances. [Applause]

Also lack of money to buy mowing stuff… that happened to me when i moved out for the first time. I was living on 300 dollars and lived in a house divided in half with a girl who kind of was addict so she was poorer than me in her part of the house and we had a rich neighbour who had all Al’s equipment reporting us frequently. I remember even how i sat inside my living room and looked outside one day catching him staring at me like he wanted to kill me. After a while i got a cheap mowing machine on electricity but it didnt do much of the huge yard so i did my part of the house. I told the girl you can borrow my mowing machine she said she didn’t want to.

I got tired looking at my crappy yard & went & bought a refurbished mower ($35) & a weed nipper. 1/4 acre lot not big but enough. I get out when I have a good day & get crazy & get fresh air. Now snow time is a different issue. I do have a generous plow "MAN" that does it & shovels. In Maine these snow days are something. He makes sure yard is clear for me to go to treatments. I love what you guys do. I've been in a similar situation. Most of the neighbors complained amongst themselves but the local house flipper keeps calling the town. This house was a disaster when I bought it and I've been nearly 20 years cleaning up the property (prior to me buying it a large outbuilding full of junk and household trash burned. I estimate I've eliminated about 60 tons of trash and building materials over the years).
About a year ago I developed severe arthritis in my knees. I went from able bodied to disabled in 6 months. The only neighbors I could get to help were a guy in his 50's with a bad back and a kid in his 20's with a full time job to work around. We managed to get most if it done so the house flipper loses out again. If we hadn't, the fines and legal costs would literally have been more than the current value of the house.
Whenever you guys do one of these where the city is after them, you may very well be saving someone from losing their home.
And it's just a joy to watch people who take pride in their work do a job!

Hey Al' & A.P., good to see you guys back in 2022 still doing the good work.
I've said it here before, but there's no harm in repeating; we ALL need more guys like you around.
I am about to move town to a little old place on a 1/2 acre that reeeeaaaally needs some TLC in the yard.
I'm nearly 60 now with some physical disabilities, so the idea of pushing a mower on a sloped 1/2 acre every week or 2 in summer doesn't float my boat at all, as I have to hang on to the handle tight with both hands just to stay upright.
So I had to bite the bullet & the super account to go buy a 42" zero turn sit down 22HP domestic model.
It does a FANTASTIC job of making me able to do my own basic yard care.
A big yard is a curse & liability when you can't manage the upkeep,- I know from experience.
A big yard with grass, trees, bushes, flowers, birds & butterflies though, is a daily blessing for the soul that can't be matched - if you can keep it under control.
The community I'm headed to has a fair amount of elderly with similar type yards
(like the old dear that just moved out of this place into a full care home)
that are probably in the same boat with managing their lot..
You have inspired me to look around for somebody there that could use a bit of kindness in their yard
for me to help out, lordy knows there is always plenty of room for more kindness in this world.
Thanks for setting a good example, and being the difference. Love from sunny Queensland Australia.

Clearing away the brush & saplings, pruning trees, shaping decorative brush, and cleaning fence lines are my favorite. I hate dethatching and weeding and I had moles one year. The city doesn't have a wood chipper anymore; I wish I could still throw branches out on the side of the road like you guys do.

Greetings again from the great white north of North Pole, Alaska. We don't have any grass to cut, probably for another 5 to 6 months. Great job on doing this yard, with our push mower it would have taken me 2 days at least to get it done. We have over 3 feet of snow ❄on the ground, no mowing being done here. But the snow thrower has been getting a workout this year.
Keep up the great work you do for people who just can't do it for themselves.
