I remember sitting with a friend of mine in Sephora, helping her with eye makeup techniques. As a cis woman, I consider myself lazy, and just use eye pencils blended on my eye. I couldn't help her with foundation and beard coverage; she would have loved this tutorial! You are positively radiant, and your candor is lovely. Thank you for your knowledge and compassion! And OH, those nails are glorious! 😍
I just love all your content. My daughter identifies as pan but has trans friends. Some transitioning and some not. Their experiences with families that do not understand or accept is heartbreaking. They always have a place here but being able to share genuine voices that reflect their world is so important. Thank you for being so open. You are amazing.
The eyebrow trick with making them higher and thinner, is so effective, It looks so feminine! You are STUNNING and I wish you all the best in your journey 🥰❤
As a cis woman with a heavy brow that is thinking as I age (probably from my RBF) I just figured this out. It makes me feel younger since I did an under pluck of my brows and I arch them more. Thank you for spreading the info!
Have you considered a Phillips Lumea for at home hair removal ? I bought one 5 years ago after being diagnosed with Pcos and became a recluse because of the facial hair issues, anyway after using the lumea every day for 2 months I was completely back to smooth and hair free face and just do it once a fortnight for maintenance, it was a life saver for me. You are doing amazing things to undo the negative view people are getting of Transwomen, I love your content.
I have PCOS too. I wax weekly but breakout from the hair trying to grow back. Any downfall from the lumea? I'm looking that up. Perimenopause and PCOS I have a beard.
@@care59801 ipl device has been a godsend for me. Only downside I can think of is that it's pricey. But it works exactly as advertised. The effectiveness of it does depend on your skin tone and hair color so definitely look that up before you spend the money.
@@care59801 As for break out from the waxing, I've been there too. You can try witch hazel to help keep them at bay. It is soothing, too. Or if you're looking for something that will dry the little bas*ards right up, you can try a salicylic acid wipe or cream. It will burn. It's usually used for acne, not ingrown hairs but...I've had good experience with it reducing major inflammation on any skin bump.
Alexis your makeup is much better then I could ever do . And you look feminine without it . But you do look very pretty with it . And it does not look over done . You have got it spot on .
Don't worry about your facial hair! I'm a biological woman with a father from southern Europe and a mother from Germany. So I've got pale skin, I burn super easily, but I have dark eyes, head, facial and body hair. I'm constantly shaving .... because laser and IPL did not work and Elektrolyse only worked for a couple of years before the hair came back. So now it's just a part of me and part of my morning routine.
I ams Scottish with Irish heritage and I also am very hairy they used to call me a wee monkey as a kid 😂 in a nice way I did look very hairy 😂still now it’s getting worse with age. 💜
This is actually also a very helpful tutorial for biological women. I have a friend with facial hair on her chin area, and this is perfect help. Btw, you look gorgeous with or without makeup. And I love your eyebrows both thinner and bushier. You have really nice facial features. I don't mean it as reducing you to your looks, though. I started watching you because you are such a wonderful person.
@@MamaisGaGGedGenerally speaking, this make up tutorial happens to be helpful towards anyone who wants to get into make up, despite the target audience being for trans folks. Calm down some, you're reading too much into the compliment. Alexis isn't made of glass.

I’m female, and I can tell you that women have hair on their face that they either micro blade off or wax off. It usually is just light and thinner. Me not so much, it comes in dark so every few days I have to shave. Thanks for your tips
The thing about that, a lot of trans women are going through either Laser Hair Removal or Electrolysis. Both of which prohibit you from waxing while you are going through those multi month long treatments or else these more permanent solutions will be rendered less effective due to the short term solution. So while you go through it your only option is shaving.
thank you so much this was such an accessible tutorial! i've been on and off HRT over the years and since covid just sort of gave up on presenting feminine but recently wanting to actually restart my transition properly, these techniques seem approachable and useful even prior to any other changes which is exciting to me!

This was a great guide, thank you-by the time you finished I had finally figured out how to work the concealer and start the foundation so I rewatched the video to feel like it didn't take me as long 😭😅 A tip for those working with facial hair meanwhile, Victoria Victoria has a tutorial on youtube about using a turmeric-baking soda paste scrub which slows hair growth when used consistently for a long time (like results after about 2 months, 3-5x a week), it supposedly works like a mild chemical electrolysis.
Just found your video, thank you, I'll try and watch it a few more times to really take it in but I'm really scared of just having a go on my own as I know I'll mess it up, I struggle with mirrors too.
Hi Alexis, I am a biological female and I absolutely adore you. Besides being beautiful you have the warmest, kindest soul. Your makeup tips are awesome. Just a little note, when you couldn't get your eyeliner to match on both eyes, remember, your eyes and brows are sister's, not twin's. I read that somewhere once and I can never get mine to match so I don't let it bother me anymore. :) Looking forward to your next video. You and Liam have a blessed and wonderful day.
I've been somewhat binge watching your videos so that's why I'm somewhat late to this party. I found the makeup tutorial helpful and motivating. Mainly because working in a call center for three years then the pandemic? I swear I can't remember the last time I actually put on make up. Throw in that I'm now in my mid 60s? I usually just say: aw fuck it and don't bother. So I'm having to remember how to put on make up again. And it's not the same because I can't do what I did in my 40s and 50s. It doesn't help because that made me look even older. This was a rather long ramble to just say: thanks. You are inspiring and the make up tips don't hurt either. Take care.
Girl, I have more facial hair than that and it’s getting fuller and darker every year. I even have a mole hair on my neck that functions as a hormonal calendar (when it’s growing back, it time to pack some tampons) So hate that hair and that you have to shave it but be assured it’s an experience you share with billions! of women around the world. Disphoria about having facial hair an inherent female experience.
Don’t feel bad Alexis if you have to shave every day. I have to shave my upper lip and chin area (It’s easier and cheaper for me than waxing). If I didn’t, I’d look like a 14 year old boy going through puberty. 😂 I used to be sad about it, especially since I found out I got teased about it behind my back, and kids would ask me why I had a mustache, etc. Now I just think of shaving as part of my beauty routine/me time, and loving myself. ❤

Lol, please do me a favor…….do a motionless shot of your mani once in awhile. I’m always trying to see what color/design is on those awesome nails.
"Someone who suffers from facial hair" 😂
This was so helpful! 💖
Thanks for the tip on the primer. I love your videos ❤
Nah girl! you're beautiful without makeup too
Hi Alexis, I am a biological female and I absolutely adore you.
So gorgeous, thanks for the tips! Wish I was as pretty as you!
💋
thank you! i really needed this
This video is a godsend. Thank you!!!!!
I was born female, and I feel more "female" (sexy?) when I do my make-up and hair. It matters even for me. ❤
Was so happy to see you've got a new job that you're loving ❤
You've got fantastic brows.
I'm MTF , this is so helpful, thank you ♥
Alexis you still look wonderful without the makeup : )
As a CD Im looking for make-up tips. So far this video is the best Ive seen so far. Thank you.
PS. You looked stunning, so beautiful ❤ ❤ ❤
This really helped me! Thanks!
You look fab without makeup. Remind me of my first girlfriend.
Take care.
Loved this tutorial! Thanks!💗
recently found your channel, ppreciate the positive vibe you exude, take care 👍
Girl, I have more facial hair than that and it’s getting fuller and darker every year. I even have a mole hair on my neck that functions as a hormonal calendar (when it’s growing back, it time to pack some tampons)
So hate that hair and that you have to shave it but be assured it’s an experience you share with billions! of women around the world.
I have always watched you & your shorts Alexis & I have always Loved watching you fullstop.I know you must've heard this b4 but I really do believe you are so,so Brave!..especially in todays climate of the Transgender influx..I think you are beautiful & awesome..& yourself & Liam are such a great match!..a match made in heaven Xx ❤u...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
