That’s why Naruto is a one of a kind anime, when people got at this party it had blow they mind with the plot twist, but than later they realized that wasn’t even close to the plot twist.
After so many flash backs until this moment when Itachi always said "forgive me sasuke" this one was so haunting and terrifying when I first saw it.
Now knowing what we know about Itachi, this awesome ass fight is so depressing to watch😂

Man the entire story of Madara and his brother and their eyes being a lie is nuts. It was just more fuel to the fire used by Itachi to get Sasuke to kill him and awaken his Mangekyo. Wild.

This shows us how much strong Nagato truly was , if he wasn’t sick and didn’t have those rods from Gedo statue , he’d be almost unstoppable

this fight alone makes naruto better than most shonen mangas. its funny how we know we will be played, and we will fall in love with itachi somehow, even though we have hated him for literal years, and yet, somehow, the series is still able to not only subvert our expectation, but also make us love him.
the saddest part is, this isnt even the first time the series pull it off. and yet, we all still fell for it.

You can’t reverse your eyes going blind, they use the power until they go blind , that’s why they take the eyes, to reactivate their sharingan, but people found out there’s more power when you do that

Itachi with eternal mangekyo would indefinitely be madara levels since his genjutsu with regular mangekyo is wayyy tooooo op and he won't be using too much chakra when using susanoo and then he'll probably learn perfect susanoo and perfect susanoo with yata mirror and totsuka blade would be too op since madara had a regular perfect susanoo with no added effects (No totsuka blade and yata mirror the only thing that would kinda count is yasaka beads) and he wasn't too into genjutsu but was able to put genjutsu on the nine tails so basically a maxed out itachi would be eternal mangekyo and using it he could create (if he had 100% kurama with him) a majestic attire totsuka blade+yata mirror max power kurama that could probably beat hashirama with yata mirror its approaching ashura levels of power
not necessarily, itachi has terrible chakra stamina and with an ems it might help him conserve his strength but just using the perfect susano'o is still very taxing. someone like hashirama with superior combat abilities would most likely just outlast him as long as he doesnt get hit by any of itachis ko techniques which shouldnt be a problem as hes basically a master at countering the abilities of the uchiha. itachi with an ems and the ninetails couldnt close that gap if madara couldnt
