This steampunk rock operetta tells the story of the space race that never was; post-Civil War Yankee cannoneers decide to launch a cannonball at the moon. In this song, Archie Barbicane (rock tenor), son of the president of the Baltimore gun club, expresses his desire to make his own mark on the world.
