Sawyer and his band; Gannon Ferrell Bass Guitar, Chris Thomas, Drums and Jerome Goodman, Guitar, were in Lake Orion on their 2019 Hide Your Ghost Tour.
Sawyer is touring in support of his album Hide Your Ghost which is Sawyers independently written and produced follow-up Album to 2016’s A Good Storm.
Sawyer recorded Hide Your Ghost analog to digital at Dreamland studios in Woodstock NY.

Have you ever heard of Dallas Green? He's the best folk artist ever, and he does concerts here in the state's, I have gone to see him, and I have listed to him for years, and he's famous, but not as famous as he should be! I love his voice! And the Civil Wars, is also a folk group and the couple isn't married, but there extremely talented as well! These are my two top picks for, folk music!

What I like best is that he's bigger, better and stronger than he ever was on the voice. He's got it, no matter how he chooses to use it or display it. That's his choice and it don't matter because nobody is taking it away.
I too loved him from the first time I saw and heard him. If he wants to be a superstar he will. He's very grounded and will do what he wants with his career. I just wish I could hear him more often. Thx for the video.

I hope you've heard his album, Hide Your Ghost, which he wrote and produced at age 18, and seen the many other videos of live performances on this youtube channel.
Yes, Since I saw his performance 2 weeks ago, I have listened to his youtube performances over and over from the time he was just a little boy. It is amazing how comfortable he has always been performing. To be that young and already know exactly who he was and what he would do for the rest of his life. Sawyer's is like the story of Mozart learning to play at 4. His smile is lovely and contagious.
My favourite version yet of this sad tale. Being a cajun girl from the bayou, I listened to this song plenty of times. Remember playing it on the piano when only 6 or 7!years. Well done Sawyer & Lily! The duet works beautifully.
