Love the channel, thank you for putting these together. I may be misunderstanding the rules, but At 28:42, does the Heartkyn grenadier have LOS on the Legionary leader? It doesn't appear to have visibility through the terrain. At 32:55, does the railgun have the unwieldy characteristic? If so, should it take two AP to shoot in addition to the 2AP the model needed a move+dash to get into position. Is he using The Ancestors are Watching for the free shoot action? At 55:18, if the Heartkyn is not in control of the objective (2 apl vs. 3 apl), can it loot the point? At 57:53, pretty sure the Legionary gunner can only loot one objective per activation 😬
You're correct on all of these - I blame George for not being around to stop me from cheating 😅 I goofed on the grenade as I was thinking about the utility grenades that just select a point, and I did use Ancestors to shoot. But yeah, gotta control to loot and can't loot twice, so we're one less each. Thanks for pointing these out though - I definitely helps me!
Hey guys! Really fun battle report, thank you for putting out the content! I just wanted to mention that the legionary heavy gunner moved far more than 6 inches in round 2. I only wanted to bring this up as this happened in the last legionary battle report as well. I am a legionary player myself and this can really change up the outcome of a game.
Hi, thanks for another report! Are you sure the Heavy Gunner's activation at 27min is ok? That's a lot of movement from a model first climbing (Normal movement probably has enough movement just for climb, but no horizontal movement after that) and then dropping (Dash? It would mean just 1" of horizontal movement, but a Legionary base is bigger than 1" so it would need to start the Dash hanging quite a bit from the edge) ...and all of this with a heavy weapon that even with a Suspensor System doesn't allow you to move more than a total of 6" in the entire activation. What am I missing here?
APL decrease by stun does not decrease Action point of active operative. It effect on APL and APL effect action point during generation of action point at start of activation
This turns out to be a counting error, rather than a rules error (for a change!) - it was 4-2 in TP2. The lesson here is to use different coloured dice. Or be able to do basics maths.
There were 3 missed and I re-rolled them all. This was, in hindsight, and foresight, a terrible idea. _In this specific instance_ I was just bad at Kill team, rather than a massive cheat.

You Guys know that an objective can only be looted once per turning Point? How did you Score 4 and 3 in tp2?
