- During a public memorial service, thousands gathered as a bell tolled and the Last Alarm rang for fallen firefighters Larry J. Legions and John V. Mesh of the Kansas City Fire Department. The men died Monday night battling a fire in Northeast Kansas City.
To all our fallen firefighters thank you so much for your service and for your bravery you live on forever you're never to be forgotten and you are in a far better place rest in peace

Having served the greatest country on the face of the planet, I can honestly say that "Taps" is the saddest song I have ever heard. Chokes me up every time. Doesn't matter if it's for a Police Officer, Fireman, Paramedic or Service member. Rest easy bros.
It’s haunting how the coms operator spoke. It was like the last transmission for those two brave men.
I would like to pay tribute to these fallen firefighters, who made such ultimate sacrifice. I deeply bow down infront them! God bless You all, greetings from The Czech republic, stay safe and be healthy!

Im not even from USA but my uncle was firefighter, nearly lost his life few times. For me all firefighters are brothers and equal heroes with great courage across this planet. May this heroes rest in peace.
May these wonderful heroes Rest In Peace. They died doing what they loved. They became firefighters to save people in need. People became firefighters to help the helpless. People became firefighters because they aren’t just normal people. They are heroes. A fallen hero is a firefighter who died in the line of duty saving another’s life. You brave men are angels who are called to save a life. Maybe even a hundred. Thank you for your duty in risking your own lives to save a lot of helpless people in the line of duty. 🇺🇸

Seriously, Taps? I understand two brothers are gone but Taps isn't called for in this.
Taps are played to honour members who paid the ultimate price. The two men they are honouring died while battling a fire. If you don’t think those two American heroes deserve that honour then you don’t understand at all.
@@RazerAssassin41 I feel Taps should be reserved for fallen service members. I don't think it's an honor that should be given to first responders
