I was living in a student pg house on cot basis, there were students who had jealousy and hatred towards me, i used to offer them fruits, sweets, although they always talked to me with bad words, (they were non-muslims), then i shift to another place after 16 months, but had to change that also after one month because of feeling uneasy. Before shifting to my present Place, i also shifted to third place , and i changed that within the same day, because my heart was not in peace. right now i am near mosque, good roommate (till now). Asalaamalaikum. This is a very tough topic, It is a real sad reality of Toxic people in many people lives. From a Spouse Siblings, or even a daughter or son, these people should fear Allah it is a great sin to oppress any other human being. May Allah Subhanawatala guide us all. Ameen.
In Islam, marriage is built on love, respect, and mutual support, but if a relationship becomes truly toxic, harmful, or strays far from faith, Islam does not require you to stay and suffer. Islam allows women to seek separation (khula) if their husband is abusive, neglectful, or disrespectful to their religious beliefs, especially if there is no peace or tranquility in the marriage. When you feel trapped, it’s helpful to seek guidance from a trusted religious counselor, a local imam, or supportive family members who can offer advice based on Islamic principles and help you find a safe path forward. Remember, Allah values your well-being, and Islam gives you rights to protect your dignity and faith. Seeking a safe, supportive environment where you can live in peace and grow spiritually is not only acceptable in Islam but encouraged.
I dont believe those are Allah sign wisper to move away from toxic relationship, is that why every time i decide to move away something happen that i cant moved on , that happened so many time when i want to move away from toxic relationship although its a big step for me something always happens that i cant serious always So for me the sign is Allah wants me to stay in that toxic Invorment Not to move away i have took that as, a sign it hurts
There was a saying my father used to say. To Oppress is a Sin to be Oppressed is even a bigger Sin. I think the moral was that one needs to speak against the oppressors. Only fear Allah, One of my Adkar is "Indeed my Protector is Allah who has sent down the book and is an Ally to the Believers " (Quran 7:196). May Allah make things easy for you Ameen.

If your environment is harming you mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, that is not what Allah wants for you. He has given you the right to protect your well-being, and there are avenues within Islam to seek peace and dignity, even if it involves a difficult separation. In challenging situations, pray to Allah for strength, clarity, and a way forward. Istikhara (the prayer for guidance) and consulting with trusted people in the community, like an imam, can help you better understand how to take steps that align with both your faith and your need for peace. Remember, Allah’s signs often come through inner clarity, support from others, and steady paths, even when it takes time. Trust that Allah is with you through each step, and continue seeking His guidance as you strive to make the best choice for your future.
