I think a better way for players to have their own property is to add a rancher role where you pay 25-30 gold for the materials you need to build and customize your own ranch. You’ll also be able to upgrade your ranch while you level up. What do you think?
How would that work in terms of the location of the property, and the server you're playing on? Say if you build a ranch somewhere, and someone else has a ranch at the same location, if they were on the same server, that could potentially cause issues. I'm not saying it's a bad idea in theory, but it would probably have some issues.
@Ollypotts It would it would have the mechanics of the moonshine shack. You get one location in every state to put your ranch and just like the moonshine shack you can use the same location but players will only see their version of their ranch. Like how you sometimes see other players at your moonshine shack but on your screen it’s yours. The idea does need work so thanks for the feedback.
Maybe they'll put 24 (or however many slots there are because I forgot how many max players can be in 1 session at a time) and have it to where if someone else already has that location, it will move it to a different location, kinda like the yacht in gta5.

Only time deeds were mentioned in rdr1 was the mission where you have to get land deeds from the shack in cholla springs north of armadillo. Somebody correct me if need be. Chances are it will be the same shack you speak of though or 1 near it. There aren't any other properties there besides the ranch and surely that isnt for sale.
Bald Gremlin In the single player you could buy all kinds of properties, but they were basically save points. Remember how you could have one of those shacks at their ranch? Right across from where there was the little general store.
It doesn't seem bad to me. Smaller easier to obtain property for the majority and the big boy in Saint Denis for long time players. 50 gold bars isn't hard to get, just a little bit of work you'll get there in a week or so

I could definitely tell Rock Star were headed into more aggressive monetization with the Naturalist update. Money and gold just flows from the pocket. They really want this to be a money maker, but they refuse to put the work in to earn it. What I mean by that is they need dedicated servers, many bug fixes, and many basic game play improvements. You can't seriously as someone to invest $200 real money for a building within a game that doesn't work properly most of the time.
They know that for 7 months players have had nothing to do but grind for cash and gold with nothing new to spend it on. They also know that the most dedicated players are minted, so the only way to get us to buy gold is to overprice everything, so that we have to spend our in game cash on things like garments from Gus which is a cash only option. Once our money is low enough they know that the only other option is to use microtransactions, or go without for weeks or months. They know full well that most players who can afford it won't wait. Also just to edit, we'd all like dedicated servers, but if they replaced the P2P ones, could that damage our accounts ie: cash, gold and clthing etc, it might mean we end up losing everything in the transition.

I dint think that you can complain when you don’t actually need to buy in game currency to do anything in the game, you can get everything without spending a dollar in real life. I can understand that you complain about the grinding but think about it, you can just get collectibles and earn thousands in a couple of days.
The gold + cash separation is actually something I like over GTAO, which had cash for EVERYTHING so prices were horrible....with RDO's system I can get some stuff pretty easily that would've taken me way longer in GTAO. But that mansion price is fucking ridiculous and should definitely not be the final price.
Adding onto what I said. The Roles (which are basically to RDO what Businesses were to GTAO) are much better done. None of them really force PVP on you like GTAO does. Really the only Roles that have anything remotely to do with PVP in Free roam is Bounty Hunter (You can, if you want, cash in on Player Bounties if you're out of Defensive mode) and Trader (where there's a separate option to deliver to a further location for extra cash but have the chance of players ambushing you.). Most GTAO businesses always put you in a position to be ambushed by players so they can fuck with you/steal your stuff.

And don't forget the fact there'll prolly be a glitch attached. Maybe something like you buy the property, but as soon as you go to enter, you find you have to pay the full amount of gold again. Fuck knows that's what's going on with my bow variants. Sent a ticket on Tuesday, and they still aint fixed it.

People try to justify the abhorent microtransactions with "they add them to pay for the free dlc's". On GTAO, there were so many DLC's that has such stupidly expensive content, that a lot of people can't even experience the new DLC's because they can't afford to buy the stuff.

CptZSLight that’s not true, is you have the daily mission streaks you can earn 8 gold just from those missions which doesn’t usually take more than two hours to complete at most. Treasure maps give you gold as well.
I have a little theory, and stop me if I sound crazy: R* wanted people to find the properties and their prices, thus they made them extraordinarily high just so they can sweep in and lower them a bit. They are still absurdly high, but since R* already appeared to have 'fixed' them, people are less likely to complain. Thus, gold bar sales sail higher than if they’d just left the prices at their absurd level. However, I still hope that the numbers mean Dollars, instead of gold bars. If not, well, shit.
RDO is gonna be the same thing as GTO. The online starts and takes place a little bit before the main story (GTO takes play a few months before the story, just like RDO) and then the online will progress, and at some point the online will be during the same time as the story, and then the online will be AFTER the story, same thing with GTO. After that, expect rockstar to start adding more buildings and stuff, because then we’ll be past the rdr2 story, and they have more freedom to add more things, without breaking the story.
I noticed that OdinVik the new ranch directly across the tracks from Emerald depot. Was hailing ass with my horse as John Marston and almost killed myself before i noticed the fence row!

Lucas Stchur stranger missions are bugged right now and you can get double gold if you can find a stranger mission that works. something to keep in mind.
If you get a 28 day challenge streak and grind all your challenges after that, you can get a lot of gold. 0.5 gold for every challenge; which is basically 12-14 gold a day, depending how many challenges there are. Obviously this involves playing for a couple hours everyday, and doing just your challenges, which is a lot of work and a lot of time. If you skip a single day and lose your streak, that sucks hard. I worked all day, one day, after having a full streak for a while and lost it. Immediately deleted the game and started playing something else.
@@bollohan I got up to 301 days recently. I would only do the easy challenges or what I felt like, some days were just 5 minutes. I've got around 900 gold. I'd recommend doing the daily challenges, easy gold.

yeah ive been getting DC'd a fair bit. also it rained foooorevvvver the last couple days. played on like 3 days for 3 or so hours each and it rained the whole time. the thunder go super annoying.
Master B.A.C. So fun workaround for that that super pisses people off and gets ya killed a lot ... at the main menu hit posey up and immediately (or if you join in a mission immediately after the mission) leave start your own and MOVE CAMP. Apparently that last part is important. Also don’t do anything that would cause you to change servers like free roam events. Very limiting but if your running crips/moonshine/collector it’s still a pretty profitable few hours between kicks. However it doesn’t help the load times.
First, fix the damn servers nay? and 2nd, what would even be the point of these properties? 600 gold is ridiculous. and 3rd, we need more and better frontier pursuits
Rockstars head is so far up their backside that’ll they’ll do anything for money, that’s why the only way to get gold bars is grinding or buying them, which most people end up buying them anyway. Greedy SOBs

Arthur Morgan , you can still play the game without buying certain things, buying a house would be mostly a waste of time since you would barely spend time in it, and the time you will be boring, if the house works like a normal house and even then this whole feature isn’t even a thing yet, I remember people seeing these file stuff a year ago. I have a hard time even believing people would be stupid enough to have the need to buy everything, and I have a harder time believing that these prices are even real. I really hate leaks.

I’m torn on it being gold bars. I personally have 725ish bars from dailies and want something to spend them on. And then you have the others that don’t or can’t do that and want it to be cash. So here goes this, when it’s cash it’s almost more of a flex because you cannot buy it- so part of me prefers this as well. To play devils advocate against people that day cash over gold because it’s too much of a grind - the cash equivalents I guarantee would be more of a grind than dailies
I have 1,030 gold bars from dailies and I play very little every day. Get a 28 day streak going and do at least 4 dailies a day. That's 2 gold bars a day at least 56 gold bars a month. That's 672 gold bars in a year and that's doing the bare minimum at an hour and a half two hours a day. With treasure maps every 5 ranks and special offers gold is not hard to get in rdr online.
@@DeceptionDice then do the easy ones at least two and log off. Visit a shop in Rhodes, eat 5 herbs etc..... . It's 1 gold a day and it only takes 15 to 20 minutes if you fast travel.
I wish I could actually enjoy this game and realistically be able to get these things in a reasonable amount of time. I just don’t get a lot of time to play so the grind is just to much. I don’t mind a bit of a grind but the prices in this game are just ludicrous. I could grind daily’s to get a lot of gold but when you only have an hour or 2 to play each day grinding daily’s is just not fun. It’s such a shame because I really enjoy most aspects of the game but when they make the prices so insane it just makes grinding not even feel worth it
If it were like GTA online it would be such a amazing game in GTA online you gotta grind but you can get most things of the game without it having to be a part time job
Well you can get the lower priced properties if it's more attainable for you. Something like the manion is for people who play all day every day or buy gold bars.

In same boat m8 only get couple hours a day by time do daily challenges it's time to come of been grinding every day for the last 48 days and the is still loads I need to get . I was doing the collectables as heard you get a nice pay off from it . Till the brought the update out and totally nerfed it I've spent hours on end days on end trying to find a full set to sell was only 1 antique alcohol bottle away . Old Tom Jones which I just can't seem to find spent 3 hours other day looking for it with out finding a single thing only for them to reduce the price can't rember of it's a hundred and odd or 2 hundred and odd . Which isn't worth the grind for when I get more sellingy moonshine . Bit the currency is ridiculas series thinking about quitting online as the grind to it simple things isn't worth the hours you have to put in

@@victoriaFedeczko The camp upgrades are pretty cool especially when your whole gang has the end teir tent and like 7 of them are gathered at one campsite. It can look lack luster when playing solo though even with all the upgrades.
I was expecting a couple hundred gold bars at the most for a Saint Denis Manor but 600 is insane and as much as we hope and pray Rockstar is pretty unlikely to make it easier to get Gold Bars and if I remember right to buy 600 gold bars with real money would cost about 150
I find it ridiculous that Rockstar are pricing the worst of these properties at such high gold bars. I'm fine with the 600 gold bar mansion, because at least that separates the top 5% of players from the rest. Allow them to have something to show for their grinding. In GTA, the highest apartment is only $1mil, so everybody has it - it's nothing special. At least here, seeing somebody with the mansion will be rare, and impressive. But I feel the worse properties should be a lot cheaper. Why would I spend 50 gold bars on a shack in Butcher's Creek, when I could spend 25 gold bars on the Moonshine role; giving me a nice property, bar extension and a new way of making money. If a shack in Lemoyne is more expensive than the Moonshine building, then there's something wrong.

I've never even had more than 50 gold bars on me... Either this pricing is off or they are gonna introduce some other and a much better way of earning them.
R* 1- fix the bugs. 2- add more ways to earn gold in game. 3- price anything as you like as long as it is possible to earn in game “logically”. 4- if you price something as expensive as 600GB it better has freeking value and some passive income. players: 1- play or pay. 2- you don’t have to buy every freeking thing. 3- some things are supposed to be special and only the highest earners or payers can get. (even the legendary outfits are not special now everyone has them).

That's the thing. Most people won't buy those gold bars. All they need are the whales which only make up 5% of the player base to purchase their gold bars to buy these properties to make the DLC profitable for them.
You can make your own session with a friend sit at a poker table make a private game invite your friend go to the party menu go over your friends name and hover over “join session” have communication as soon as your friend says go (them accepting invite) click “join session” person at poker table will get errors just press the action button to get passed them and will end up in a normal server the friend accepting the invite however will be in a private invite only session and can invite you

Idk if they will patch it it would be hard to do to it’s a connection error just like in gta5 if you lower your internet speed you can still play but play in a public session alone meaning you can do any activity without being attacked. So if they did add private sessions you won’t be able to to per say a long distance delivery because you NEED pvp active
neat! this could bring me back. i grinded the game daily until march and still got like 350 goldbars left after buying outlaw pass and naturalist role (which i just made til rank 3...this dam role made me so angry, i dont want to shoot animals for samples after 7 months of nothing! didnt even start the game since this shit was released). just going by the names, i think i would end up in strawberry, i like this cozy little place. or its possible to buy several? we'll see. i just hope, its not too long in the future.
Well i think this wasn't the big update that they probably intended to release yet hell gta online is getting a small update in august 11 and they are just adding new cars mission in our yacht & bennys vehicles sooo dont get your hopes down yet
I've played for over a year, have almost 1000 gold, made solely through doing daily challenges, missions, etc. I've never cheated or glitched. And that's even with spending gold to buy all the Outlaw Passes and Roles over time. It's possible. You get your daily streak up to 28 days so you're making half a gold bar for every challenge you complete. Right now there are 22 challenges to complete every day. That's 11 gold bars per day.
So i would be all set stocking up on gold even after just barely buying the outlaw pass. I built up a 3 week streak on daily challenges but i lost that today because I couldnt frickin connect to the servers. I had probably 20+ attempts trying to log in even going as far as to restart the PlayStation a couple times. Thank you rockstar I hope you're happy.
This is why online games shouldn’t have a second form of currency. Cash is pointless. You can buy everything with gold bars. It wouldn’t be so bad if gold bars were easier to get. This is ridiculous.
Players: Yay we got properties! Rockstar: What? *laughs* this isn't yours, it's for travellers to sleep in! don't worry, you'll get paid. joking aside, having the mansion in Saint Denis could have us making shit ton of cash by tourists and stuff!
Reasonably if this update was to drop around December, we would have about four to five months to grind it out and if you get your daily streak to max you will make around roughly 10 gold bars a day for doing ALL dailies. Now dailies can take anywhere from 15 min to an hour to complete so that’s 10 gold bars there assuming you don’t do bounties or stranger missions and get more. Anyways if you calculate it out there are 122 days in October-December assuming you would have to spend the rest of this month getting your streak up so if you are to grind an hour or so on challenges every day then you would have roughly 1,220 gold bars throughout four months. Now this is an estimate taking in the fact that you will have days where you just feel like getting on to do one challenge just to keep your streak, so this mansion is very attainable but will just take a lot of grinding on dailies. In conclusion I’m thinking the mansion should be worth more around 250-300 gold bars as this is a realistic goal.

The prices on that list were placed deliberately. Rockstar have a track record of putting future files in current update files for future updates, the prices were put in knowing those files would be found to then see what the reaction would be towards paying large amounts of gold for properties!

Practically none of this would make sense at all as an update, especially when paired with the price to the amount of content you can expect to be getting. A gold bar is worth on average about $0.31 USD. That’s about fifteen-and-half-dollars, or up to USD$186.00 for something that has even less to do than GTA Online apartments. And it wouldn’t make sense to do it with buildings with existing interiors that aren’t their own interior cell since those places are “public domain” in free roam, or with any buildings which we know are already occupied by actual characters. These are probably stand in prices if those even are the prices, or a ramshackle shack would cost RDO$45 because there wouldn’t be much to actually do in it. I don’t think Rockstar is that masochistic that they would make the player pay over three times the price of the game for a room with a couple of chairs you can sit in, a bed you can’t lay in, and a couple of pictures or paintings you’ve seen 100 times, or a guitar or a harmonica that play 3 songs between them.
For all who complain about don't having gold bars just do some dailys everyday and you are good. Made in a month about 100 goldbars with the bounty hunting together
Gotta say.... 600gb is absolutely ludicrous. Like 200 might be almost reasonable, but really thats almost $200 in real life money, almost 2.5 times the price of the game. I don't want any dlc that's gunna cost me more than the total price of the game. No one just has 600gb unless they are either a modder or they have just way to much money. I'll probably end up getting the second most expensive one.

I think a better way for players to have their own property is to add a rancher role where you pay 25-30 gold for the materials you need to build and customize your own ranch. You’ll also be able to upgrade your ranch while you level up. What do you think?
How would that work in terms of the location of the property, and the server you're playing on? Say if you build a ranch somewhere, and someone else has a ranch at the same location, if they were on the same server, that could potentially cause issues. I'm not saying it's a bad idea in theory, but it would probably have some issues.
@Ollypotts It would it would have the mechanics of the moonshine shack. You get one location in every state to put your ranch and just like the moonshine shack you can use the same location but players will only see their version of their ranch. Like how you sometimes see other players at your moonshine shack but on your screen it’s yours. The idea does need work so thanks for the feedback.
Maybe they'll put 24 (or however many slots there are because I forgot how many max players can be in 1 session at a time) and have it to where if someone else already has that location, it will move it to a different location, kinda like the yacht in gta5.

Only time deeds were mentioned in rdr1 was the mission where you have to get land deeds from the shack in cholla springs north of armadillo. Somebody correct me if need be. Chances are it will be the same shack you speak of though or 1 near it. There aren't any other properties there besides the ranch and surely that isnt for sale.

I could definitely tell Rock Star were headed into more aggressive monetization with the Naturalist update. Money and gold just flows from the pocket. They really want this to be a money maker, but they refuse to put the work in to earn it. What I mean by that is they need dedicated servers, many bug fixes, and many basic game play improvements. You can't seriously as someone to invest $200 real money for a building within a game that doesn't work properly most of the time.
People had 7 months to grind, but yeah it wasn't new player/returning player friendly
They know that for 7 months players have had nothing to do but grind for cash and gold with nothing new to spend it on.
They also know that the most dedicated players are minted, so the only way to get us to buy gold is to overprice everything, so that we have to spend our in game cash on things like garments from Gus which is a cash only option.
Once our money is low enough they know that the only other option is to use microtransactions, or go without for weeks or months.
They know full well that most players who can afford it won't wait.
Also just to edit, we'd all like dedicated servers, but if they replaced the P2P ones, could that damage our accounts ie: cash, gold and clthing etc, it might mean we end up losing everything in the transition.

The gold + cash separation is actually something I like over GTAO, which had cash for EVERYTHING so prices were horrible....with RDO's system I can get some stuff pretty easily that would've taken me way longer in GTAO. But that mansion price is fucking ridiculous and should definitely not be the final price.
Adding onto what I said. The Roles (which are basically to RDO what Businesses were to GTAO) are much better done. None of them really force PVP on you like GTAO does. Really the only Roles that have anything remotely to do with PVP in Free roam is Bounty Hunter (You can, if you want, cash in on Player Bounties if you're out of Defensive mode) and Trader (where there's a separate option to deliver to a further location for extra cash but have the chance of players ambushing you.). Most GTAO businesses always put you in a position to be ambushed by players so they can fuck with you/steal your stuff.

CptZSLight that’s not true, is you have the daily mission streaks you can earn 8 gold just from those missions which doesn’t usually take more than two hours to complete at most. Treasure maps give you gold as well.
I have a little theory, and stop me if I sound crazy:
R* wanted people to find the properties and their prices, thus they made them extraordinarily high just so they can sweep in and lower them a bit. They are still absurdly high, but since R* already appeared to have 'fixed' them, people are less likely to complain.
Thus, gold bar sales sail higher than if they’d just left the prices at their absurd level.
However, I still hope that the numbers mean Dollars, instead of gold bars.

RDO is gonna be the same thing as GTO. The online starts and takes place a little bit before the main story (GTO takes play a few months before the story, just like RDO) and then the online will progress, and at some point the online will be during the same time as the story, and then the online will be AFTER the story, same thing with GTO. After that, expect rockstar to start adding more buildings and stuff, because then we’ll be past the rdr2 story, and they have more freedom to add more things, without breaking the story.
I noticed that OdinVik the new ranch directly across the tracks from Emerald depot. Was hailing ass with my horse as John Marston and almost killed myself before i noticed the fence row!
Guess they thought it was more important to feature single play characters who's been killed rather than the logic of expanding the map pre story line.

If you get a 28 day challenge streak and grind all your challenges after that, you can get a lot of gold. 0.5 gold for every challenge; which is basically 12-14 gold a day, depending how many challenges there are. Obviously this involves playing for a couple hours everyday, and doing just your challenges, which is a lot of work and a lot of time. If you skip a single day and lose your streak, that sucks hard. I worked all day, one day, after having a full streak for a while and lost it. Immediately deleted the game and started playing something else.
@@bollohan I got up to 301 days recently. I would only do the easy challenges or what I felt like, some days were just 5 minutes. I've got around 900 gold. I'd recommend doing the daily challenges, easy gold.

So fun workaround for that that super pisses people off and gets ya killed a lot ... at the main menu hit posey up and immediately (or if you join in a mission immediately after the mission) leave start your own and MOVE CAMP. Apparently that last part is important. Also don’t do anything that would cause you to change servers like free roam events. Very limiting but if your running crips/moonshine/collector it’s still a pretty profitable few hours between kicks. However it doesn’t help the load times.
First, fix the damn servers nay? and 2nd, what would even be the point of these properties? 600 gold is ridiculous. and 3rd, we need more and better frontier pursuits

I’m torn on it being gold bars. I personally have 725ish bars from dailies and want something to spend them on. And then you have the others that don’t or can’t do that and want it to be cash. So here goes this, when it’s cash it’s almost more of a flex because you cannot buy it- so part of me prefers this as well. To play devils advocate against people that day cash over gold because it’s too much of a grind - the cash equivalents I guarantee would be more of a grind than dailies

I have 1,030 gold bars from dailies and I play very little every day. Get a 28 day streak going and do at least 4 dailies a day. That's 2 gold bars a day at least 56 gold bars a month. That's 672 gold bars in a year and that's doing the bare minimum at an hour and a half two hours a day. With treasure maps every 5 ranks and special offers gold is not hard to get in rdr online.

I wish I could actually enjoy this game and realistically be able to get these things in a reasonable amount of time. I just don’t get a lot of time to play so the grind is just to much. I don’t mind a bit of a grind but the prices in this game are just ludicrous. I could grind daily’s to get a lot of gold but when you only have an hour or 2 to play each day grinding daily’s is just not fun. It’s such a shame because I really enjoy most aspects of the game but when they make the prices so insane it just makes grinding not even feel worth it

I was expecting a couple hundred gold bars at the most for a Saint Denis Manor but 600 is insane and as much as we hope and pray Rockstar is pretty unlikely to make it easier to get Gold Bars and if I remember right to buy 600 gold bars with real money would cost about 150
I find it ridiculous that Rockstar are pricing the worst of these properties at such high gold bars. I'm fine with the 600 gold bar mansion, because at least that separates the top 5% of players from the rest. Allow them to have something to show for their grinding. In GTA, the highest apartment is only $1mil, so everybody has it - it's nothing special. At least here, seeing somebody with the mansion will be rare, and impressive.
But I feel the worse properties should be a lot cheaper. Why would I spend 50 gold bars on a shack in Butcher's Creek, when I could spend 25 gold bars on the Moonshine role; giving me a nice property, bar extension and a new way of making money. If a shack in Lemoyne is more expensive than the Moonshine building, then there's something wrong.
Only problem with what ur saying, is lazy fucks with money will just buy gold bars and everything in the update, I wanna come across that 5% that actually earned 600 gold in game not just used a credit card

You can make your own session with a friend sit at a poker table make a private game invite your friend go to the party menu go over your friends name and hover over “join session” have communication as soon as your friend says go (them accepting invite) click “join session” person at poker table will get errors just press the action button to get passed them and will end up in a normal server the friend accepting the invite however will be in a private invite only session and can invite you

Idk if they will patch it it would be hard to do to it’s a connection error just like in gta5 if you lower your internet speed you can still play but play in a public session alone meaning you can do any activity without being attacked. So if they did add private sessions you won’t be able to to per say a long distance delivery because you NEED pvp active

this could bring me back. i grinded the game daily until march and still got like 350 goldbars left after buying outlaw pass and naturalist role (which i just made til rank 3...this dam role made me so angry, i dont want to shoot animals for samples after 7 months of nothing! didnt even start the game since this shit was released).

Over a thousand gold
I've played for over a year, have almost 1000 gold, made solely through doing daily challenges, missions, etc. I've never cheated or glitched. And that's even with spending gold to buy all the Outlaw Passes and Roles over time. It's possible. You get your daily streak up to 28 days so you're making half a gold bar for every challenge you complete. Right now there are 22 challenges to complete every day. That's 11 gold bars per day.
Be lazy and glitch like a bitch. Everybody else does because they suck
So i would be all set stocking up on gold even after just barely buying the outlaw pass. I built up a 3 week streak on daily challenges but i lost that today because I couldnt frickin connect to the servers. I had probably 20+ attempts trying to log in even going as far as to restart the PlayStation a couple times. Thank you rockstar I hope you're happy.
This is why online games shouldn’t have a second form of currency. Cash is pointless. You can buy everything with gold bars. It wouldn’t be so bad if gold bars were easier to get. This is ridiculous.

Reasonably if this update was to drop around December, we would have about four to five months to grind it out and if you get your daily streak to max you will make around roughly 10 gold bars a day for doing ALL dailies. Now dailies can take anywhere from 15 min to an hour to complete so that’s 10 gold bars there assuming you don’t do bounties or stranger missions and get more. Anyways if you calculate it out there are 122 days in October-December assuming you would have to spend the rest of this month getting your streak up so if you are to grind an hour or so on challenges every day then you would have roughly 1,220 gold bars throughout four months. Now this is an estimate taking in the fact that you will have days where you just feel like getting on to do one challenge just to keep your streak, so this mansion is very attainable but will just take a lot of grinding on dailies. In conclusion I’m thinking the mansion should be worth more around 250-300 gold bars as this is a realistic goal.
Or how about the properties not cost gold bars at all?

The prices on that list were placed deliberately. Rockstar have a track record of putting future files in current update files for future updates, the prices were put in knowing those files would be found to then see what the reaction would be towards paying large amounts of gold for properties!

Wess Coates i has the problem with the horned bow variant where i bought it, went to the gunsmith and didn’t have enough gold to buy it again, but as soon as i got enough gold i went back to reluctantly purchase it from the gunsmith and it let me just equip it so i didn’t have to buy it again, but that doesn’t even matter. after the first two days of the new update i can’t even get on without disconnecting in 30 secomds

Practically none of this would make sense at all as an update, especially when paired with the price to the amount of content you can expect to be getting. A gold bar is worth on average about $0.31 USD. That’s about fifteen-and-half-dollars, or up to USD$186.00 for something that has even less to do than GTA Online apartments. And it wouldn’t make sense to do it with buildings with existing interiors that aren’t their own interior cell since those places are “public domain” in free roam, or with any buildings which we know are already occupied by actual characters.
These are probably stand in prices if those even are the prices, or a ramshackle shack would cost RDO$45 because there wouldn’t be much to actually do in it. I don’t think Rockstar is that masochistic that they would make the player pay over three times the price of the game for a room with a couple of chairs you can sit in, a bed you can’t lay in, and a couple of pictures or paintings you’ve seen 100 times, or a guitar or a harmonica that play 3 songs between them.
For all who complain about don't having gold bars just do some dailys everyday and you are good. Made in a month about 100 goldbars with the bounty hunting together

Gotta say.... 600gb is absolutely ludicrous. Like 200 might be almost reasonable, but really thats almost $200 in real life money, almost 2.5 times the price of the game. I don't want any dlc that's gunna cost me more than the total price of the game. No one just has 600gb unless they are either a modder or they have just way to much money.
