THANK YOU! I just bought a second hand drum carder that didn’t come with instructions but it just didn’t feel like it was working right and your video saved me, my teeth were completely interlocking 😬
Good maintenance will definitely increase the life of your Drum Carder. I plan on getting back to more fiber shenanigans as the weather get warmer. I'm happy to help.
Thank you for your explanation. I couldn't remember how far apart the two drums are supposed to be and I couldn't find the info on the company's web site.
My batts were good at first but now there’s lots of little hook shapes on one side of the batt from it getting caught on the drum, do you know how to fix this?
I’m not 100% sure about your situation. ? Is the batt on the main Drum getting cought on the hooks from the small licker drum? If that’s the case the drums need to be adjusted further apart. If that is not the case. How are you removing the batt?
@kayaramirez5608 Could you share a video of your process / how the machine is setup via FB or FB message . I could try to figure out what is happening and find a fix. Sounds like what you’re doing is correct.
Thank you so much for that 411… this video was very helpful I appreciate it so much. I also have a channel and will be making a video of me using my new brother drum carder and I’ll add your link to it so my subscribers can find you and your channel as well…
Thank you! Finally an easy follow explanation of exactly how to do this! ❤️
You a so welcome. Glad I could help.

@@mattimakes it’s not getting caught in the small licker, I remove it by running the drum slow on reverse and pulling the batt off

How wonderful- thank you much. I’ll be sure to watch.
Good information but would have been helpful if you had your hair tied back.🤷♀️
Thank you for your feedback. That should not be an issue anymore as I had it cut to above my shoulders.
