Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of Hey Kids. It’s probs ma least fav Weirdcore songs, tbh. Jack Stubar or whatever is also overused. I don’t mind Rather Sleep. I like Still Life, though, yes I do agree that it is put in to many playlists. I have 0 idea what Nimbassa core is-

@@ColinChanged I don't hate the music, I just hate that it's overused, but to me it probably is the most weirdcore/dreamcore vibes, hey kids has a good melody but the voices mess with the weirdcore vibes, if it was just a instrumental version it would be better, Still Life is the same thing as I'd Rather Sleep for me, perfect but overused, and nimbasa core is more a breakcore than weirdcore
im obsessed with a genre that no one can explain absolutely correctly, there's just so many things about it that i love but can't comprehend

There are a few number of songs that I like, unfortunately any new songs I listen to, have to meet a strict criteria. They have to have lots of variation and reverb! Like echo's and human voices. They especially are what fascinate me. : >

such a fantastic playlist. as much as i like most of the other "usual" songs, this is such a great selection that feels like a breath of fresh air. i'm glad i don't recognize most of the songs!

I just wish I could wake up one day in another reality. Where nobody exist. No job, no internet, no more video games, no family, no friends. The thought of it simultaneously fills me with great sadness, despair and loneliness as-well as relief, relaxation and serenity.
I can no longer ignore this desire and it is strong enough now that I have a slight distaste for life.

You are moving out your parent’s house and you are sorting your stuff into the boxes that cover your old childhood room. There was so much in here before, the room felt empty. A comfy empty though! You remember the toys that would scatter the room that your parents would beg you to clean up, the wellies you would wear when it rained. You don’t feel sad remembering these, not at all. It feels like hope for the future. That one day, your child would do the same as you did. Hug their teddy while asking for a bedtime story or feel wonder and awe as the look at the large world that awaits them. You finally think to yourself, ‘I am excited for what will happen’.
Oh.. oh no. This reminds me of the time I had to pack all my stuff and leave my nanas house. The house was bare and it upset me so bad, but you really put a happy perspective on that, thank you

Dreamcore - as a musical genre - speaks to me on a fundamental level that i can barely explain.
It's like being on a good LSD trip while you're tired and feeling sleepy. Everything in your imagination makes more sense that your physical surroundings.
Struggling to not fall asleep; the physical world keeps you awake, yet does not attract any attention from you as you're actively exploring the limits of your mind and imagination that seems to manifest before you.
You feel time moving.
You're almost floating, barely aware of any sensation of touch in the physical world. The images you see feel real. Most of your memories are from an alternate reality that you will never experience in this timeline.
But you know in your heart that there is a connection between you and that alternate timeline right now, in this moment - and there is another you on the other side; possibly unaware of your existence.
That's the feeling that I get from this music.
That was quite moving because reminded of a state I go to from time to time with a kind of meditation I figured out since I was fairly young.

I love that this truly represents The Backrooms! An escape from reality that gives you a sad nostalgic feeling in your heart. Nothing to do except wander the endless halls, wondering if you'll ever find your way home. You feel the slightly damp carpet on your feet and hear the soft hum from the fluorescent lights above you and wonder if there even is an escape, so you end up wandering into other levels. You're blissfully lost in this quiet world.
i usualy dont dream that, but i also escape from the reality,with some of my favorites charaters like sans,mickey,tails,etc.

Some weirdcore songs made me feel like I was lost in an endless search for something traversing through places and memories long decayed by time, in a desolate place that seems darker and grayer as time goes on, and always covered in a dense fog which has no apparent source.
This genre of music always surprises me when it comes to the feelings it makes you feel.
I love this because I haven't heard all the songs like most of these types of playlists

A few years ago. I had a dream, it was easter. My mom had been in the front yard, standing with an easter basket. It was really sunny outside, and so beautiful. She seemed so happy. In that time period, i was neglected by her in real life. This song reminds me of that dream. It reminds me of when she truly cared for me. That dream will never be forgotten.

Just imagine this, you are in a liminal space for eternity where you cannot die, but no one is there as you ponder everything there. It feels like forever but just like it never happened because it's unescapable and you are so used to it.
I feel like this is a really depressing thing that could happen.

The first ever console I got was a WiiU. I had so many good times messing with miis, screening about Pikmin bosses, and the general things a kid does with a console. The WiiU sits on my desk as a relic now, so when I booted this music up I got hit with this *something* it just hurts my soul in such a way that I was just sitting there crying for a good three minutes.
I was so, SO TIRED to listen the same songs, even sometimes the same order on every playlist

this is like the only weirdcore playlist that still gives of the same feeling yet the music isnt really scary or anxiety inducing
I don’t think anyone can understand my desperation to be ANYWHERE that where I am right now, physically. It feels like an endless cycle, day after day, week after week. Get up, eat breakfast, get dressed, brush my teeth and put on mascara, drive to school, be at school, walk to the park to get picked up, drive home, cry in my bed thinking about how much I want to be anywhere else, then usually play video games for hours, make myself dinner, take a shower, look at my phone for a while then fall asleep. Every. Damn. Day. I need a break. I love my life though. I’m insanely lucky, but it can’t stop me from feeling hopeless.
They included one of the caretakers OTHER songs (Besides it's Just a Burning Memory) and i was at peace

something i'd like to note about this playlist is there is some recognizable songs, like school rooftop or backroom labyrinth that you can find in most weirdcore playlists. but, this one has a mix of original songs that don't appear in many playlists. i really like this playlist, hope to see a part 2. maybe. idk. but its still really good :)
