    My best tip to making many cards with one design is to get my friend to help me and do 1/2 the work!!!!!! 🙃 But I love these and maybe I could even do these by myself pretty quickly!! 😬 LOVE THE WRITTEN NOTECARD TOO! Makes it easier to remember what the main idea of your video is! THANK YOU!! You are the BEST!!!😘

    I found a lady named Natalie that sounds like she’s in the UK that I can’t stop watching. She does videos everyday and never runs out of ideas for Clean And Simple cards. Well she made a “tool” called a smoother and that thing is AMAZING ! i made 5 but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. But instead of having so much water on your panels that it just runs from one side to the other, it rather controls it a bit. She also likes doing simple shape cards like circles or squares. I find most of the time I would add more to the card and definitely place the sentiment somewhere else, but I really recommend you go to her playlist and look for how to make a smoother or any smoother video and see how well that works! I am positive you will love it and no taping and no running , dripping soaked paper. Her channel is NB Cards. lovely lady.

    Good reminder that cards don't always have to be complex to be beautiful. Thanks, Ardyth. Thank you, also, for showing your paper cutter. I purchased mine about a year ago after watching one of your videos and have never regretted the expenditure. I occasionally use my smaller guillotine trimmer or one of those plastic cutters with the slide cut thingy that needs to be replaced often, but my workhorse is the Dahle like yours. All my cuts are exact thanks to the moveable bar. It's such a rewarding feeling to cut all my panels for a project (like card bases or layers) and they are all the same.

    This is my recipe for 2 of my 4 Christmas cards this year! one is red/green Christmas paper with metallic JOY die cut, one is blue and silver Snowflake. The other 2 are much more intricate with lots of die cutting -- mistletoe (each of 4 branches is cut separately) and berries and the other is a pine branch with 3 hanging balls. I love the look of them bur I will NOT be doing them again in bulk. Your 3 ingredient recipe is definitely the way to go! 💛😊

    I loved your use of the gold dots when you were working with Tim’s Holiday blocks set. You used Gina’s Lots of Dots die set but every where I look it’s out of stock. I guess I will have to improvise another way to do this but I loved it.

    • @ardyth
      @ardyth  2 дні тому

      Take a look in your stash, maybe you have something like a coverplate that cuts some circles, or a party hat die that cuts dots. I have made a list of all my dies that cut dots so I have a selection of sizes, but that Lots of Dots is probably the best one for creating embellishments. Gina K has it in stock in her store. Good luck!

    Fabulous ideas! Ardyth, what glue was that you used to adhere the stain glass panel? Have you tried using waxed paper to sandwich between your intricate die and cardstock? That may help you to avoid having to pierce out all the little pieces. But you'd probably go through a lot with 28 cards. 😅 Thank you for the video!

    • @ardyth
      @ardyth  2 дні тому +1

      I did too. The blue mat can not be directly on the rollers, so you need something on the 'outside' of the sandwich. I'm using a green double-sided gemini jr mat - no idea if they're even still around - my plan is to use probably a doubled-up piece of thick cardstock as a shim to protect the surface of the blue mat. @@jkaboo Thanks! Sorry, I wasn't clear. My current sandwich (bottom to top): double sided plate, i-Crafter plate, cardstock, die, clear Gemini Jr cutting plate on top. My plan is to try replacing the double-sided plate with 2 pieces of cardstock. I don't have the 3 plastic i-Crafter shims, so you may find one that's better with those. Good luck!
