Mother rabbits have been known to be ridiculously protective of their kits, and in a humanized society I imagine that would make the fathers be about the same too.
I don't think it should be applauded, Legosi wasn't doing anything wrong, he wasn't even speaking or moving in way that could be misinterpreted as aggressive. Her dad just yelled at him over racial profiling. He's being discriminative just like the rest
@TextbookSadass its weird cuz this is an anime only change, in the manga, Haru´s dad was super friendly towards Legoshi, scared at first, but by the end of their meeting he learns to love the grey wolf, and even approves the relationship between him and his daughter. Here, however, he was hostile against Legoshi from the start, which i find a bit weird tbh

I love that scene when legoshi see Haru again and start to talking until her dad shows up and just never got a chance to tell her about something important about their relationship or something else too. I can’t wait to see what happens in part 2 see what happens with legoshi and Haru to be able having a future together too.
So I was wondering about Legoshi and Haru's relationship after season 3 ends and I know there's beast complex which is somewhat of a continuation of beastars and Legoshi and Haru have like two chapters one being the most recent release this year and spoiler.... After 3 years of dating and Haru trying her hardest it ends with the panel of their apartment saying that the two animals grow closer. I peeked at the last chapter of Beastars and apparently, they get engaged and have their first kiss. This chapter of beast complex happens three years later, and we do actually see Juno a little in that chapter as well. Hope they have a part three for the rabbit and the wolf and other characters.
fun fact, Legoshi would tell Haru's dad about his feelings towards her, not to see if he'll be okay with it but simply just to Spill The Beans and be honest about it
I Just Can't Wait To See If Haru The Dwarf Rabbit's Relationship With Her Mom, Dad And The White Rabbit Klan Are True That Haru Was Raised By The Herbivores That Are Originally The "All White Rabbits Only" Who Are Prejudiced Towards "Black Rabbits" And Not Carnivores According To The Manga.
Probably the most infuriating cliche in all of media or literature: Main character has forced and awkward conversation with love interest and can't spit it out before either the douche friend or a family member shows up and buzz kills the whole scene! Legoshi procrastinating until Haru's Dad showed up made me roll my eyes. This trope is so over used in Anime.
