I am from Skardu Gilgit Baltistan and a follower of Hazrat Shah Hamdan Amir-e-Kabeer Syed Ali Hamdani. His teaching is must needed in this age of extremism and nationalism. He was not only a saint but a scholar, an artisan , writer of more than 100 books, a traveler and reformer.
May Allah Ta'ala bless Sayyidina Amir Ali Hamdani (radiyallahu anhu). I would love to know more about him. Are any of his books in Arabic or translated into English? I strongly feel that the world (especially here in North Africa and the Middle East) needs to know about his blessed life, works, and accomplishments.

I live in seer hamdan.... A town in anantnag kashmir, my house is next to hazrat Amir Kabir's shrine, our ancesters have come from iran with him.... And we are proud that we have his shrine next to our house.... And this town is named after his name❤.... Thanku soo much for filming such a soulful video on his life with soo much detailing.... Near the town of Mansehra, NW Pakistan, close to the river Siran, there is still a place where Hazrat Shah Hamadan is supposed to have passed away on his way back to Central Asia. His mureeds carried his body back to his home for burial.

Unfortunately You have ignored to comment on this thus giving only a hagiographic view of Hamdani. Your viewers will thus get an incomplete picture of Hamdani. The full picture is important so that people know what really happened in Kashmir.

Hamdani was an #orthodox Sufi (Persian), whereas Sheikh Noorani was a #vedantic Sufi (Kashmiri).
Kashmiriyat was because of Noorani and NOT Hamdani.

@@babar6687 Kashmiri Sufiism is based on advaita vedanta, where the philosophy is that of Allah is all powerful and is present in all Human beings, but the Human beings get corrupted by veering away from the righteous path which is of devoting their life to Allah through meditation and following the quranic tenets.
Really?it was built by demolishing Goddess Kali temple and it is mentioned in his hagiography.He dictated Umar pact on hindus and converted around 35k hindus.

It's so sad that India as a nation calls the same people in Kashmir as terrorists who create such passionate works of art, I mean look at the shawls, the wood carving, the paper machie etc, such works of art can only be created by a heart that only knows love and harmony.....wish, pray and hope that the terrorist state machinery of India could understand that! And yes I am from Srinagar n am a Kashmiri too.

Terrorism itself is a subjective term, that's why you have a phrase "designated as terrorist by ....". Actually, if Indian ultra-nationalists call us as terrorist, then we are in the true path. Paper mache my dad mother used to make baskets, she was urban from village. Not Russian or german. Pure indian. It’s not advanced it is one way of progress, now no one uses paper mache.

An accurate and impartial analysis-Firstly Fida Hassnain is not a historian but a pseudo-historian not objective. Due to this the Semites (Yehudis in this case) used him to plant fake data into Kashmir. I was posted in Kashmir studied her and even read the English translation of the classic Rajataringini. What is Kashmir? Kashmir in reality is Aryan Central Asia. During the Hindu period Al-Biruni a genius informs us that it was a great center of learning. Also many Buddhist monks from Kashmir spread Buddhism in Central Asia and beyond. With the arrival of Semitic Islam (a fine faith) Islamic rituals entered Kashmir yet this Islam had a Kashmiri version. Thus the present culture of Kashmir remains mostly the same as the ancient period since Kashmir has been an isolated region. Hence, the Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Muslims have almost all in common except religion. In a similar manner many Iranians have accepted Islam but retain their original pre-Islamic culture and are proud Aryans. Many things which are in reality indigenous to Kashmir are Saffron, Santoor, etc. Few neo-converts to Islam want to disown their glorious past but the wise among the Kashmiri Muslims are proud of their rich past yet follow Islam with tolerance.

Kashmiris by nature are peace loving and secular, and that's why Kashmir acceded to India in 1947. However, the poisonous seed of 2-nation theory finally caught up with Kashmiris in 1980s, and they threw caution to the wind and took up the path of arms in the name of Jihad. History shows that a militant movement ends in a victory only when the people are really oppressed. In case of the militancy in Kashmiri, it is opportunism (presented by Paksitan) and not oppression which is the root factor. And the end result is Shame for all Kashmiris. I am not proud to be called a Kashmiri now,

Fcuk off clown. Even Brahman historian Jonaraja who has otherwise everywhere blamed Muslims for desecration of several Hindu shrines doesn't even make a mention of Khanqah being a temple and being run over. Khanqah was Shah e Hamdan's abode and he spread message of Islam in valley from there.
