I'm about to start my own 1/4 scale MQ-9 build but I can't really decide if I'm going to go full-out DIY and do the blueprints myself or not. What's your impressions of the quality of the plans you bought? The autopilot and visual lock-on / tracking software for the completed project is my own which by the way won the 'MINI-DARPA' HIL-SIM contest 1st and 2nd price in 2010 (iirc) using my X-Planes 1/2 scale MQ-9 model. The MQ-9 is thought to be a 'demonstrator' for this.
Did your MQ-9 get shelved permanently? 🤔
For the foreseeable l, far too much work and a house move left me with only a tiny work space.

@@michaelfuchs1467 the plans are very good, they are scaled up from their smaller one and I've seen a few of them flying and they fly well
