Thanks for the video! I was wondering if you have tested these in led flashlights as a replacement for standard 123a’s. I have a xova and a Maglite Mag-Tac that take standard 123a’s and was worried about the extra 0.2v per battery burring out the board/emitter. Have you had Any experience that might be helpful? Thanks!
I dont like rechargeable 123a batterys. The capacity is 1/3 of quality single use cells. For my 123a Surefire i use 16650 rechargeable batterys, they work perfect and have a much better capacity.
hey paul great video as always! I have a cheap $20 flashlight that takes AAA. I wonder why all the serious flashlights take 18650 or CR123 batteries? form wise it's not that off to use AAA or AA. Thanks!
Serious flashlights need to run at a higher voltage. AA and AAA batteries normally run at 1.5 volts while CR123 batteries run at 3 volts or higher. That and a decade long shelf life if you get quality batteries mean CR123s are infinitely better for heavy duty use.
1:53 Yes, they most certainly are - they’re made in asia.
Lmao no truer words
Toshiba makes them I think
"Mr dullest knifes on UA-cam" I laughed so hard at that!! Great video as always my friend!
How they holding up?
I’ve been looking for some of those. Can you please do an update video later on how they’ve been working?
Trust me. They're coming from overseas.
Definitely coming from overseas 😂
Yep, "Made in China"
