i spoke to a jewish rabbi who mentioned that the man's father DID DIE and was buried and the reason the son wanted to go back was because he wanted to put his fathers bones in an ossuary...(a ritual that can be done by anyone not nec the son) that is why Jesus told him let the dead bury the dead...(cause there were people allocated to do this particular job function)
