Not sure if you noticed but while Zabuza was next to Haku when it pans to Kakashi and Naruto he’s holding onto Kakashi’s vest, just attention to detail that this is one of the first few times Naruto witnessed death.
I love this animation and miss it. Funfact, when Zabuza kill Gato, he's a red demon and change for a blue demon. In the japanese culture, blue demon is a good demon.

3:00 They softened down in Anime. In Manga, Kakashi hand did penetrated Haku's chest through the back. Also Zabusa cut Gato's head clean off and sent his head flying instead of just slashed him and drop him in the water.
Yeah... Zabuza and Haku, the first crying about anime I ever had. And after this one I cried a lot in several episodes and other animes.
This arc was the best way to begin, simple and so touching.
The episode which made fans know they are in for the greatest anime❤️
Damn im already finished with everything except boruto...and I forgot about the bridge getting named after naruto. Fuck being hokage naruto was making a name for himself at 12-13 yrs old getting great bridges named after him and shit😂

theres a whole different exchange between zabuza and gato too, in this he says "ill let you find out for sure is im a cute little demon or not in hell" but the original lines were all about how "im not going to where haku is, were both going to hell"

Zabuza was not straight up gay but he was questionably homosexual at the end, still... that's the only semi-homosexual scene that actually gets me teary eyes every time. The feels are strong on this arc.
There was never any indication they was sexual tension between those two. I always thought of it more as a younger brother or father/son relationship. I guess people could reach and say there was some tension but i never got that from them.
Guys, I understand that completely, I was just exaggerate it for the meme...

It’s so worth watching this episode in the English dub. It’s so good.
In general the English dub was really bad in Naruto but in this episode and the previous 2 episodes (Haku's backstory) the English dub is phenomenal, there are some really good moments in the English dub that was actually better than the Japanese one IMHO but for 95% of the episodes I prefer the Japanese dub.
That's what I'm saying dude the caption was "don't talk anymore" wtf was that lol in the English version its way more sad & emotional.
@@rem_xo The "Don't talk anymore" part is the English dub though, in Japanese they don't say that, in fact, what you read in the subs here is more closely to the Japanese one. The English dub took liberty and changed a lot of words and it worked for the better in this episode and the previous 2 episodes.
@@d-hunter9801 The english is more emotional he says '' you talk to much... your words cut deep... deeper than any blade'' the subs don't say that at all he just says stop talking lol that's horrible. People are weirdos & praise everything that's not in English when in reality it's not even bad.
@@rem_xo I agree, the english dub was much better in that part, that being said, I still prefer the original Japanese dub because they are better for the most part IMHO, even if the subs aren't that good the Japanese voice actors does a better job with the voices, on this regard the english dub fails in most animes but there are rare exceptions like this episode (and the previous 2 episodes) where the english dub is actually phenomenal.

I think I personally prefer the dub for this episode.
I agree, for 95% of the episodes I prefer the Japanese dub but there are some few episodes (like this one and the previous 2 episodes with Haku's backstory) where the English dub is actually better. The only downside is that the music quality gets degraded in the English dub so that takes away part of my enjoyment as well because Naruto has an amazing OST.
@@d-hunter9801 I think in this case it comes down to personal biased because typically English dubs are pretty bad due to bad voice acting and bad translations.
With all honesty the naruto (not shippuden) english dub and voice acting is just as good as the Japanese.

i like sub more...when he said that "dont talk anymore kid "version it felt like it didnt take away his character as a ruthless badass ninja even though naruto affected him with his words....but when he say it in the dub version it really shown his weakness
