Hey this was awesome! could you maybe share some more details on how you made the shelves attatch to the cart? definetly considering to build this myself
The only improvement I could see would be to put the shelfs on rosettes for even quicker set up time! Overall super solid build and really enjoyed watching this!
I like what you did to the cart! i had mine for about 6 years and I must say this thing has hauled a lot of gear for me and I thought it was a good start as a production cart. BUT - its the most shittiest engeneering and cheap ballbearings on the front wheels that keep flapping when there's not enough weight on them. and the upright bars are so wobbly I wouldnt want to put any gear on them in order to use it as a full production cart. So people pls dont buy this thinking you can build a cheap but sturdy production cart... adn rant-mode off. Still like what you did to it man!
Thanks! I still use it to this day. But only for smaller shoots where I'm not hauling as much. I have since then moved onto an actual inovativ voyager 36 nxt cart which fulfills the needs of crazier payloads. With Rock N Roller its kinda like playing the lottery. You get some good ones with nice welding and other ones where the welding is awful. But it was definitely enough for me to work my way up to a nicer cart later on!
@@alanychung Thanks for your feedback. I've moved to Andicart which is similar to Proaims carts and must say - should have invested in the cart before I baught another camera... Cheers to you and god speed.
@@marcoleibetseder3826 it’s hard to resist the temptation of new cameras 🥲like you, I should have invested in a cart and nice tripod. They hardly break and last the lifetime of your career ahaha
Hey Mike! My friend and I thought about it but the cost of materials without buying in bulk is very expensive unfortunately. And each unit is constructed individually which took 2 days. My friend did the math and said it wouldn’t be very profitable to make it worth the time required to make it unless it’s mass produced. Maybe someday!

Luke is so cool. Dope final cart design
Great job. The handles are brilliant.
Guess I know what I’m building next 😂 great video and thanks for the video and details on this amazing idea!
Awesome! What are the specific pieces you used to attach the rosette handlebars?

great built! What's the width of your shelves?
Very nice!! How did you attach the rosette handlebars? just with 1/4 20 screws through the rock and roller bar holes? Thanks
Yup!!!
Love this! What is the name of the piece you used for the 1-2" vertical edging around the platforms?
Great, it takes up all your space in your sedan. All the equipment its made for, where will you keep that? Why not a foldable Olympia XL trolly?
what are the dimensions of the cart you made?
now im tempted to get this cart haha
It’s definitely worth it! Especially on gigs where you don’t need the bigger heavier duty carts ahaha
looks like everyone ive seen before, whats different about yours?
That cart looks amazing!! Saves your back ahaha
Is there a guide or parts list. So others can do the same?

Any interest in creating the shelves for others who have Rock N Roller carts?
