In the kurukshetra war, when Ashwathama killed all Upapandavas (Droupadi sons), Arjuna went to kill Ashwathama. But Droupadi told Arjuna to forgive Ashwathama as he is Guruputra. Around 100000 people saints and brahmins staying with Pandavas in Vanavas. Droupadi was caretaker of all of them.
In the kurukshetra war, when Ashwathama killed all Upapandavas (Droupadi sons), Arjuna went to kill Ashwathama. But Droupadi told Arjuna to forgive Ashwathama as he is Guruputra. Also she told that as a mother she understands the feeling of Ashwathama's mother, therefore requested to forgive him.
This was Droupadi 's great character.

There is a difference between Kouravas and Ashwathama. Kouravas were direct culprits but Ashwathama did only for Duryodhanana. Droupadi and Bheema did prathigna to kill Duryodhan and Dushyasana. Ashwathama was a Brahmin also. Nobody in that time, were killing Brahmins and cows.
Droupadi akshay patra is not fake story. Even now also that Akshay patra is in Udupi Krishna mutt. With the blessings of lord Krishna, daily they are serving thousands of devotees.

Subhadra doesn’t have her own identity! Most of the people, Indians, don’t even know her! She doesn’t have any significant role to play! She is only known for being Krishna’s sister! She was just a medium used by Krishna for to get Kuru/Chandravamshis lineage forward with Yadava/Chandravamshis and this was because Lord Krishna himself incarcerated in the Yadava clan! Nothing else!
