This music lets me know how far I’ve come playing this game. I started with Tekken 2 and played most of the games in the series. Thank God for Tekken and everyone involved in its success.

Tekken 6 character select theme has been glued to my brain since the first time I played that game. I used that theme in Tag 2, T7 and now T8. It's just so damn good man 🔥
You forgot "Detune" which plays on Tekken 6 scenario campain and also Broken ties which plays on Arcade mode of Tekken 6 psp version. Tekken 6's dust and thin is my current theme and it fitd soo well since now we got back 3D animated and in motion models like in T6 BR. But honestly T4's Jet theme just hits different (been using it as the main menu)
you missed a lot of character select themes. First are the obvious tekken 5 dark resurrection and Tekken revolution themes. Then since you were counting arcade version themes, so there are 3 character select themes for Tekken 6, one is arcade/scenario campaign, another (which you used here) is console, and lastly the psp story mode character select. And in Tekken 7, each seasons has different character select themes, you only showed the season 1, but missed season 2 theme, season 3 theme, and season 4 theme. EDIT: You also missed the Tekken tag tournament console character select theme, the one you used here was of arcade version of Tekken tag tournament.

Tekken 2’s console theme by far fits the best in my opinion, it’s super nostalgic and very 90s, just fits the vibe better imo, like the calm before the climactic battle.

Original Tekken 6 - The Original Arcade Release of Tekken 6 have different select music, it’s also in the console version of tekken 6 as part of the character selection screen in Scenario Campaign mode. The one in the video is the Bloodline Rebellion character select music. Tekken Revolution - this is just sad because it’s the easiest. Original Tekken 7 - the original arcade release of tekken 7 have a much different character select music. The one on the video (the one that’s you wrote it’s “tekken 7 arcade”) it’s the character select theme of the arcade update of the tekken 7 that’s called fated retribution. At least 3 different characters select music from tekken 7 home release/fated retribution round 2 in the arcade. Every season pass change the character select music.

In terms of music direction this game's character select theme had over the years: *Arcade Era (1-4):* Tekken 2 character selected sounded divine. Tag 1 is close second. *Electric/Rock Era (5 - Tag 2):* Tag 2 was my jam. 5 easy second. *Current Era of music (7 & 8):* Base game? 7 more traditional. Love 8's fifa sounding theme tho.
I use Destroyers from T7 S4 because it's fitting with the side select. Maybe I would use my fav T6 or the goat T5 select theme but they aren't the same without the announcer
