Thank you! Finally someone who explains and proves that a 2 stroke is NOT unreliable! I love 2 stroke and have only ever owned them. I daily my KTM 125 and GasGas 250 with literally zero issues - everyone seems to think 2 strokes will blow up all the time and always seem to require a top end rebuild - Jeez its metal its not that fragile
I grew up on 2 strokes in the 90's before 4 strokes were anything good. I still feel that mixing gas is easier than dealing with cam chains. Electric start doesn't make up for the extra weight. A vintage CR500 still destroys most modern 450's. Clearly, if money is no object then we would all be riding race-prepped 2024 bikes.
Hey Paul, why did you choose the 450 over a 500exc? I have a 07 525 exc with a factory racing 540 big bore (61hp) and a motostar supermoto setup! I enjoy your content, keep it up!

I want something that i can trial ride which the 350 is good for because its light but also want a supermoto so the 350 would be better than a 250. Would it be underpowerd for the street? Have you ridden one?
Practicality wise a 4-stroke on the street a two-stroke is fun don't get me wrong but in heavy traffic yeah you don't want to stroke sitting there revving up the motor every 2 seconds while you're sitting there parked

im 17 and looking for my first super moto any recommendations ive ridden my brothers wr250 Supermoto and I've ridden quads and dirt bikes my whole life so ik how to ride clutch pretty good and ik the feel of a dirt bike i'm not a complete noob
Why KTM over other brands? I have really been wanting this 50TH Anniversary edition YZ450 at my work, but we also sell lots of KTM and my co workers all ride KTM. I have always liked the YZ and think it would make a sweet supermoto, so for what reasons may someone choose KTM instead?
i have tried my friends yamaha yz 125 (i have ktm 125 sx) and in my opinion ktm just feels better even when they are both motocross bikes. I feel like yamaha is more dedicated to motocross and does only motocross while u can ride ktm pretty much anywhere, street, motocross and enduro and is at least in my opinion best in everything.

couldnt u just change the oil every 10 hours on that 4 stroke as long as u use good oil?
