Started my team season 2 few days ago I'm now at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and the results so far are Bahrain 1-2 Saudi Arabia 1-2 Australia 1-2 Japan 1-2 Chinese Sprint 1-2 China 1-2 Miami it was 1-2 but some sort of glitch came up saying Michael Schumacher dnf even though he literally crossed the line in 2nd and unfortunately Michael Schumacher actually had a dnf his engine blew up in smoke or lost power so getting a 1-2 every race is now impossible
Is that a bug you’ve seen before? Thankfully I don’t think I’ve noticed any big bugs in my career save so far… 🤞🏻 I won’t see any! Amazing results though! Even if it’s not a 1-2 for the entire season they’re still great results to secure the constructors championship!
@BudoBrown Just done the Emilia Romagna grand Prix I finished 10.5 seconds ahead of Schumacher but Schumacher was finishing 45 seconds of Norris and I just qualified for the Monaco Grand Prix I qualified 6th listen I know I have the best car on the grid but I suck at Monaco qualifying 6th was my best grid position on that circuit so I simmed it and Michael Schumacher who was on pole won the Monaco gp I finished 2nd 22 seconds of my team-mate but that's understandable and going into the Canadian Grand Prix we have upgrades only like 1 or 2 more then in terms of what I can do and buy that's it until I reach level 3 in my facilities and when other upgrades soon come in that's all I can do also my car in qualifying for Monaco felt like on rails on the straights it was so quick I felt like I was leaning forwards now it might be just Monaco but in the corners it didn't feel the best but on the straights it felt like it was on rails
Yeah I’m the same with Monaco, it’s fun when I can get a lap together but it’s so hard to get it right and then I get frustrated and because of that make mistakes and go slower 😅
@BudoBrown also idk what code masters were thinking but in career mode there's always massive ERS and DRS trains like in my team career mode me and Schumacher 1st or 2nd whatever way we're miles ahead of each other but miles ahead of the driver in 3rd but P3 2 like P10 there's a massive train then a gap 2 P11 then there's a train from P11 down 2 P16 then a gap then P17 2 P20 then a gap 2 P21 2 P22 and because of that slower cars are able 2 stay ahead and if there is a quicker car ahead of a slower car that quicker car wouldn't pull away because the slower car would always stay within DRS and ERS for their advantage what do you think of this massive ERS and DRS train problem
I think it’s a slipstream vs dirty air deal. Slipstream is mad especially when thinking about drs and ers as well but we don’t really get punished with the loss of downforce that following the car ahead would actually do. So basically as you said the cars behind can just stay with faster cars and create a massive train as they’re not losing out as much through the corners but just gaining down the straights
