I was blessed to have been B&R in SF where it’s nothing but just hills, can’t go anywhere in the city without a hill in the middle of your trip. Downhill boarding is insane so props to you Nat for indulging in that. Have fun! But be safe out there! Much love

I was hoping you would get into it someday! You're already a seasoned skater so you'll pick it up, like anything it just takes a little time. Regardless of what other Riders say, I would suggest throwing on some gear until you really get the hang of it. It will save a lot of road rash and pain lol. Elbow and forearm guards as well as pants with slide gear built on or you can just strap on some slide gear. But once you really get the hang of it you will be addicted to the speed and those super long down Hills! Some people travel to find those epic mountains like France or wherever LOL those are some insane speeds! Anyway congrats and stick with it!
Something I'll add but of course you already know, the longer you're downhill board, the more stable at speed along with truck tension and everything else
