@@IliasKoureas i am hoping Nikon announces any news for a z50ii or a z5ii next month. I plan on buying a camera in November. If nothing is announced about a z5ii by November, I will just go for the z6ii because of the BSI sensor. But if a z5ii is announced with a BSI sensor, that’s an automatic purchase for me over the z6ii.
Great video... you have a chilled style that makes you want to watch and not skip. Some lovely images too. I got the 24mm/1.7 as soon as it was released and its a great lens for the Zfc.
@IliasKoureas I used it just this week on holiday in Croatia. Its a lovely lens on the Zfc and perfect for narrow, medieval streets and Venetian architecture. It focuses quick and the images have a nice quality about them.
I've the lens and the Z50 it's also great for portraits and is a good all round lens, wide enough focal length and aperture to boot. Great video and wonderful images in the end. Kudos.
@3:02 long story short - that was outside of the repair shop (inside the building) who took my new laptop and changed to an old one. 😂 what a painful memory in Istanbul.
Thanks for the great video on this lens! I bought one today, put it on my Zfc walked out of the camera shop in downtown Kingston ON and did some street photography and WOW!!! I love the 36mm focal length for street work!
Yes I took it out on holiday in Santa Fe, put some of the photos on a video I’ve done (review of Drury’s hotel), I was very impressed with the performance in normal and low light, the image quality and look of the lens. If only they had put VR in that lens, it would have been amazing for video too. The autofocus is a bit noisy though (can hear it ‘crunching’) which Z30 high gain internal microphone can pick up.
It's an amazing lens, I just uploaded the I'm depth reviews as well 😄 Oh I changed my name on IG so that's why it's not working. Thank you for letting me know!!
Excellent shots, and thank you very much! I’ve just ordered this for my Z fc. Do you know if this lens is compatible with the mechanical shutter mode on the Z fc, or just the EFCS?
I have the z50 and only the kit lens. I want to buy this lens, so does this struggle in low light focusing? I've heard people say z50 struggles to focus in low light but I think that would be the case with any camera out there.
It does struggle with the low light autofocus. Other lenses are faster in low light. The viltrox 23mm 1.4 for example is always faster in terms of auto focus. I have a comparison, you can see it on my channel
😅😅😅 just in time, i look for this lens and your Video pop´s up! Great! What you think about the sharpness in comparsion to the manuell TTArtisan 25mm f 2.0? Thank you!
The nikon is sharper and has autofocus. But i think that the TT Artisan lens is around 60$ so theres no comparison here haha. Will do a full review soon about the Nikon lens and will do a comparison soon with other lenses.
Review really soon. All I have to say for now is that this lens has a lot of focus breathing. But the auto focus is really nice so I can see this being used for talking head shots and some cinematic b roll It's not wide enough for vlogging tho
Nah. Zoom lenses are the go to for landscape. Maybe a really wide prime would be useful (I like the TTartisan 10mmf2) but for landscapes look towards zooms lenses to make your life easier and make the most out of the scenery Infront of you
You have to be on crop mode since this is a lens for apsc. So you will have way less megapixel (I think 12). I wouldn't use this lens on the z6ii. Maybe look for the 26mm pancake lens 😁
Hello, may I ask you is that lens sharp enough, in terms of micro contrast...i want to use it with z fc and i have sigma 56 1.4 which is on par in almost every situation with my full frame Z lenses..
You're legit one of the reasons why i got the Zfc
Thats so nice to hear my friend!! Im honored that you feel that way
The Zfc looks nice but ergonomically, the z50 is a better choice.
@@WidePhotographs For sure. The grip is amazing on the z50. But since i film myself on a tripod all the time , i hate the screen on the z50.

@@WidePhotographs To be honest i think they will make a weaker z8 first. Basically a z6iii.
Great shots! finally Nikon is releasing lenses for their mirrorless aps-c cameras which kinda narrow but is promising for upcoming models.
Thats true!! Viltrox is also helping a lot. Now all we need is a fast zoom and a strong body
I simply love your storytelling in your videos! Thank you !
Whoa , thank you this means a lot!!

Will create much more content with this lens, I think it will suit many people 🙏
I really enjoy your videos! I definitely have this on my wish list now for the Zfc :)
Thank you mate! This lens is definitely a great solution for the day and night street photography ✨

Yes! Are you planning on adding this lens to your arsenal?
@@IliasKoureas no, because, I use lumix but I like nikon

I have a lot of street photography POV's in this channel and I will create many more! 😁
Super nice video
Glad you liked it!
Nice video, been waiting for them to release a lens like this! Be great for my Z50
btw your IG link in description is broken I believe.

Thank you Philip!! 🙏
Would be amazing in Tokyo.
True!! I would love to visit Tokyo some day 🥰

Thank you! ❤️ Im pretty sure you can use it while you are on mechanical shutter mode as well
Great shots do you use any presets in LR?
I use my own presets. Will release them in a few weeks , I'm working on building a website alongside my other projects 😅

nice lens but prefer viltrox 23mm
I use the viltrox 23mm all the time as well. But they re both excellent

Adobe Lightroom classic

Πραγματικά , πλέον τα 300€ θεωρούνται οικονομικά για φακό 😂

Its close to the sigma 56mm in terms of sharpness but the 56mm is still sharper. Really good tho , for the price and the size of the lens.

GoPro has the same resolution?
I'm sorry I don't get the question. This video was filmed with the GoPro 11 in open gate 5k resolution
