Blue was always a different kind of boyband from their peers. When typical boybands of that era went for teen pop and cheesy ballads, Blue went for R&B/rap and presented themselves differently. They're about the only UK boyband who were successful in America.
They lost a record deal in America because of what Lee said about 9/11.

Blue is probably the only boyband together with Another Level that looked like supermodels since their first single. Most boy bands had funny haircuts and outfits and it seems like Blue has always been styled so well.
