I purchased this machine in December 2023. I have no issue with this machine so far. Regarding the collars to keep the weights on. I noticed the weights slipping off, but I thought out of the box, got the "Duck Tape" out, and wrapped two of my collars...starting from the inside of the collar, I held the collar and wrapped it around. This provided an extra layer to stop the weight from sliding off. Once I did this process, no more weights slid off. Also, I'm thinking about separating the shoulder press arms. Right now, it's a bar that keeps the arms together. I can receive a better shoulder workout when working out unilaterally. The quality is a notch down compared to others, but it does the job. I worked out on others...such as Titan, and the feel and workout are the same but at a lower price. My next home garage gym equipment will be the Syedee Seated Row Machine. Hopefully, in 2024, during Prime Day at Amazon.
Just pulled the trigger on this from the Walmart website $299.00 I’m also eyeing their prone/seal row bench. My old lady has been wanting these for awhile hehe 😉
New follower. Love the breakdown. Was wondering and looked online are there any companies that sell metal Olympic sleeves... I literally looked it up on Google on any type of site that I could timu etc and could not find anything but the plastic of different companies.... I will say that the sleeves from the Syedee leg press are thicker and actually do hold the clamps.. Maybe if Syedee or GMWD sells just the sleeves those could be another option....
I have not seen metal Olympic Plate Adapters either. I wish someone would make them. Could be a lot of uses for them. Thank you for supporting the channel! 🤘💪🙏 I appreciate it!
Can you make a video of you doing triceps pull downs on your rep Ares 80inch? Additionally, can you make a video of you doing seated lat pull downs and tricep pull down with the lat pull down? I noticed that the lat pull down cable location is alot higher than the other cable locations
Legend. Yeah a video about everything you need to know about the 80inch height would be a great video for you to make. You're like the only person I have found that has it.@@DesignBuildLift
I have been super busy - not sure when I can get to this video (and properly edit it). If you DM me on Instagram I can shoot something for you (without fancy editing).
If the convenience and time is your concern then we should consider a lot of other machines not just for the shoulders. How about legs, chest, back etc.
Isn’t convenience and time a concern for everyone? My point is that you should tailor your home gym to provide time efficient workouts that prioritize your individual fitness goals.
Thanks, but there is one more bad thing about the machine - - during Viking presses, the machine gets off balance towards the back. Therefore, you have to stand on the front feet of the machine to keep it from tipping over. Backwards.
3:32 100% True. It is a lightweight machine, hence the cheap price tag. If it was heavier it certainly would cost more to ship, and those extra costs would be passed on to the customer.
@@DesignBuildLift thanks for that reply. And you are exactly right, to keep the price down they had to keep the weight down. I like the machine a lot because you can do more exercises than just laterals and shoulder presses. Plus you can do both anterior presses and posterior delt presses. Great machine for a great price
It's really upsetting that this company is not in Canada. I **LOVE** their equipment because it's everything home gym equipment should be. It's stripped down. It's not trying to be a commercial grade piece. Their machines are designed with the idea of performing X and Y function at the cheapest and simplest manner. For most home gym owners, you are using the machine once or twice a week.. plastic knobs and the cheaper components will do just fine because it's not getting 1/100th of the use a machine would get in a commercial gym.
They do look identical. This is 14 gauge and the Titan version has 11 gauge, and costs $150 more. I would love to put them side by side to determine how each one feels.

I agree, you definitely do not need expensive equipment to get in great shape! 💪
Comment for the algorithm!
Thank you!!!! 🤝
No assembly video??
No. Just the review.
Feel like this brand have a lot of similar equipment as Titan just 14 gage steel.

Made cheaper than REP and even Titan. Not saying bad but not as heavy duty. More Walmartish but not really bad either.
You are in their Amazon ad...
Holy crap! You are right! I had no idea. They edited out all the constructive criticism at the 2nd half of the video 🤣
Kommentar für den Algo
Danke sehr!!!! 🤘🙏💪
