बहुत ही साफ सुंदर और एक पारिवारिक मूवी। जब यह फिल्म आयी थी, तब मैं शायद चौथी कक्षा में पढता था। आज की तरह ऐसा मीडिया नहीं था, फिर भी लोग इस मूवी को देखने के लिए पागल थे। गुजरा हुआ जमाना आता नहीं द्वारा।

I am 62 now. When this film was released then I was 11. This film made me deeply Sad. I remember That I was deeply lmotional/depressed for the Hero Elephant shot dead in the movie. This film is a landmark movie in my life. Till today I have watched the movie near about may be thousand times. Regards 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Haathi mere Saathi was a very nice film. I watched in ny childhood with my maternal grandmother. This was her all time favorite film. Although i forgot the whole story but it was a great fun watching this movie in my childhood. Overall it was a very nice movie especially for the children. I would love to watch this movie again. Thank you so much for making a special episode on this film rakesh bhai. Can't wait to watch this episode.

Very good information. I had a news that Rajendra Kumar had bought that bungalow from Bharat Bhushan and then same was bought by Rajesh Khanna and recently it was sold above 95+Cr to one businessman. Tanuja and Rajesh Khanna were not in good terms and she had told in one of her interviews that she had to act just to complete the movie. She had 2 movies with Khanna 1) Hathi Mere Saathi 2) Mere Jeevan Saathi. It is not known when and why their relations were strained. I never watched this film but I watched few songs. It is also said that Rajesh Khanna was reluctant to take song by Rafi Sahab but had to accept him later as Rajesh Khanna thought that his career had great hand of Kishor Kumar.

Ye film jab relies hui thi tab main 6 saal ka tha. Apne pariwaar ke saath ye film dekhi thi, 6 saal ki ageme kuchh yaad rakhna muskil hota hai. 1977 me jab Gharpar T. V. aaya tab ye film pahli baar dekhi aur uske baad college ke dino me Mornig show me dekhi thi 1983/84 me. Saleem Jawaid ke saath yadi Kaka ji ka rishta majboot bana rahta to koi aur hi baat hoti...
Waise bhi Rajesh Khanna ek rich family se hi the baad me Super Star ban ne ke baad unki late latifee aur attitude ne unhe kafi nuksaan pahunchaya.

Read my comments to know about copy masters Salim Javed they were really lucky to sell old wine in new bottles but that luck was short lived. Seetha aur Geeta was blatant copy of Ram aur Shyam which original was Telugu film later made in Tamizh both super hits later made in Hindi. Deewar was a sort of modern Ganga Jamuna. The list goes on. The Sholay water tank scene was lifted from an English film The secret of Santa Vittoria! The most illogical scene as the remote village of Sholay had no electricity. Remember Jaya lighting the hurricane lamp and Amitabh glancing on her ! Haath ki safaai SIMI s train accident scene is a straight lift from Gurudutt s Pyaasa.

हाती मेरे साथी फील्म बोहत सूपरहीट थी । मैने बचपन मे टीव्हीपर पडोसी के घरमे देखी थी । उस दौरमे हमारे घरपर टीव्ही नही था । टीव्ही देखने के लीये हमे बोहत जद्दोजहेद करनी पडती थी । हम 6 भाई बहेन थे । तो हमे एक साथ कोई घरमे नही लेता था । हम लोग तीन घरोमे दो दो करके जाते थे । हाथी मेरे साथी फील्मके सभी गीत भी सूपरहीट थे । खासकर मोहम्मद रफी सहाब का गाया हूवा । नफरत की दूनीया को छोडके प्यार की दूनीया मे खूष रहेना मेरे यार । फील्ममे सूजीत कूमार के एन सींग मदन पूरी तनूजा राजेश खन्ना । सभी कलाकारों ने फील्ममे बोहत अच्छा काम कीया था । हाथी मेरे साथी फील्म सूपरहीट होनेके बाद राजेश खन्ना सहाब और तनूजा जी की एक और फील्म आई थी मेरे जीवन साथी । मगर वो फील्म फ्लाॅप हो गई थी । और आप कल शामको एपीसोड मे हमे पूरा डीटेल मे बतायेंगे । आपका धन्यवाद राकेश सर

हाथी मेरे साथी फील्म मेरी फेवरेट है । आजभी अगर कभी टीव्ही पर आती है तो मै जरूर देख लेती हू । पहेले हम लोग बॅन्ड्रा लींकींग रोड मे शाॅपींग करने जाते थे । अब तो सभी जगहा पर माॅल बने है । राजेंन्द्र कूमार सहाब बोहत कंजूस थे ऐसा सब लोग बोलते है । धीरज कूमार को मैने देखा है । हम लोग अंधेरी मे रहेते है । हमारे बीडलींग मे डायरेक्टर रहेते थे । तो उनसे मीलने बोहत से हीरो आते थे । अन्नू कपूर भी हमारे बाजूके बीडलींग मे रेंन्टपे रहेते थे । बादमे वो बडे आदमी बन गये । सलीम जावेद की जोडी सूपरहीट थी । फील्ममे सभी जानवर देखने को मीले । लक्ष्मीकांन्त प्यारेलाल महान संगीतकार थे । पूराने जमाने मे 10000 रूपये भी बोहत बडी रकम थी । हमने भी बचपन मे सर्कस देखी है । रेंम्बो सर्कस और ग्रेट गॅमलर सर्कस । मेरे पीताजी हमे सर्कस दीखाने ले जाते थे । अब तो सर्कस भी बंन्द हो गई । आपने आज पूरानी यादे ताजा करदी । आपका धन्यवाद राकेश सर

Everyone contributed their best but I feel sorry that story writer & dialog writer Salim & Zaved shab were not given due payment & due respect when they they gave maximum contributions.I think producer & actor Rajesh Khanna should have looked over it.

Most movie lovers conveniently forget to know that that Haathi Mere Saathi produced by Devar of Chennai erstwhile Madras Flop Tamizh film Deiva Seyal in the original Tamizh film the hero is an old man deserted by his children and the animals he raises take care of him especially elephants. Rajesh insisted that they employ Salim Javed. It is an open secret that how this Hindi team abused I’ll treated the not so westernised film producer Devar. After the torture he went through Producer Chinnappa Devar swore that he will never again with Rajesh Khanna and Salim Javed.
