omfg shihos probably the cutest of them all
You can really tell Sunghoon lives for Sarang. He is so affectionate and caring, always making sure she is happy, he has said in another episode that he makes sure Sarang never sees him when he's angry because he doesn't want her to ever feel scared of him like he was of his father. It concerns him how Shiho wants Sarang to be a "classy" girl, but he wants her to be tough and strong so he signs her in judo classes. He cooks for her when she's craving something, I mean, he made a whole cake just because she wanted to eat cake lol Seriously, this man's whole universe is Sarang, I kinda feel bad for Shiho though...

Vitória Martini I’m sure shiho knows that he loves her too, even though it could be sad for her, we don’t know how sunghoon is offcam. just hope he’s at least somewhat affectionate to shiho too, otherwise how did they end up getting married?
I believe because he grew up in Japan, Sunghoon is shy about PDA (Japanese are known to hide even simple acts of affection in public), especially in front of cameras. When she is asking him to hug her, he mentions the camera. So that may be the reason... There is, however, one ep where we do see them hug. It is after Sunghoon has a match... can't remember what ep.
It's so cute to see Sarang in that 'why' stage all kids her age go through. It's either 'why' or 'how'. But Sarang makes the whole thing seem so cute
Sung Hoon and Shiho are the realest couple on this show haha. ♥

Her mom is so funny. Don't know whether it's due to her speaking as well as learning Korean. But she cracks me up. I don't understand r speak the language but she seems to b a corky person. When she opens her mouth it's like a crazy person speaking. Don't mean it in an ugly way r being rude toward her. It's the Japanese accent I assume when speaking Korean. It seems daddy was embarrassed everytime she spoke.

It's interesting that people are commenting on Sung Hoon not hugging Shiho before leaving. When they did the one year anniversary special he was asked about not hugging her on another episode and he said it was not something they normally do so the first time she asks him to hug her before leaving he was shocked by it. I agree with those who say he might be "shy" with his wife in public. He clearly can be very affectionate and has no problem with it because he is very loving to his baby girl. I would also add as a professional athlete who is in training sex is out completely until after the match ... so he may have more than one reason for not wanting to hug her at that moment.

Choo Sung Hoon, you need to kiss your wife goodbye. I can't for the life of me figure out why he's so embarrassed to hug his wife on camera. Cultural differences, blah blah blah. HUG YOUR WIFE!
+RockWarrior2 stupid dumbass huh. Ow you really hurt my feelings there. Lol. Hugging your wife goodbye shouldnt be something to be really shy about. Especially since she really seemed like she wanted a simple hug. It wasnt as though she was asking for a large public display of affection. A hug truly wasnt a big request. Dont get me wrong, i love their family. Im only expressing my opinion on what i think he should have done.
A lot of the couples don't do intimate stuff like that on camera. The culture over there is different and just because you like it a certain way doesn't mean they have to embarrass themselves for your entertainment.
Is a hug really that intimate? Is a hug goodbye really that big of a deal? The thing is, Shiho sees Sung Hoon dolling out copious amounts of affection towards his daughter. Really him demonstrating that he's going to miss his daughter. As he leaves, Shiho simply asks him for a hug, when she's seen Sung Hoon hug and kiss his daughter. Now I would never have commented if she didn't ask for a hug. She didn't ask him to kiss her on air, just for a simple hug. Sometimes you have to swallow your embarrassment to demonstrate your love for your significant other.
I would also say that it wouldn't be for my entertainment really either. It would be more of an affirmation than anything else.

I think she is ... especially when she said she cannot carry sarang. I heard that someone pregnant woman will not carry their children in their early stage of pregnancy
Women should never lift over 5 lbs during pregnancy and if its the first tri-mester they shouldn't lift anything since it can cause a miscarriage. She is so skinny that she won't be able to hide her pregnancy for long. :) We'll find out in about 2 months for sure. I still worry since she's almost 40. She's in great shape but she has to be extra careful due to her age.
I really feel bad for Shiho because her husband is only taking care of his child😡😠😠😠😠😠😠
