High Jenna it's hard for me to Accentuate red colored flowers. Icqn do it with yellow colored flowers I don't know why I had a hard time with the red??? Jk FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.
I do too! I think because if you try to add more red or pinkish color than it's too bright and it's not a shadow. So I think what she does where she makes it brownish is maybe the way to go. Sometimes I use a purplish but I don't think that's right either
@SuzetteSantori1 OH I haven't tried purple because it doesn't seem like it matches very well with the red. Yeah I know it all comes down to color theory. I'll have to get some scrap watercolor paper and practice otherwise I will never get it correct. Thank you for the info. I'll probably have to email Jenna. 😊. JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸
Today I learned (again)that I'm trying to do too much in one layer. And sometimes not letting my wet on wet dry fully . Good reminders!
