    Wonderful video and images. I've been following your photographic work and it is always a pleasure to behold your videos and sites you visit. This time you even start with one of those memories I cling to from my first visit to England (actually it started also driving in North Kent!): that most delicious breakfast! Yes, I'm a continental who is a fan of your traditional breakfasts!
    Congratulations with all your photos and videos, and thank you so much for sharing them with us.

      Hi Rosa, thank you for taking the time to watch the video and then write such a lovely comment! I follow you on Flickr also and your images are always amazing! Do you have any plans to eat a full English breakfast again? 😀

    Thought you was going to struggle on that one Phil with that wide expanse of good feeding ground in front of you but see you "pulled it out of the bag" with some very nice in flight shots. 👍

      Fortunately, as they do, they fled fairly close to the roost initially. Then they were away!

    Thanks for the video.....What focus mode did you use with the owls in flight? Many thanks, i'm just getting used to my A1 and still trying things out.

      I always use ‘AF-C’ (continuous) and the ‘Zone’ focus area without tracking, bird eye detect and image stabilisation on. Thanks for watching!

    Does it cost anything to visit these private owned places?

    Do you have tracking sensitivity set to 1 or 5?

    • @philgowerbirdphotography
      @philgowerbirdphotography  6 місяців тому

      Thanks for watching...Usually 1 because I want to stay locked onto a flying bird. I never use the tracking focus modes, just zone area for flight shots.
