Grand Funk Railroad - Some Kind Of Wonderful 1975

Hun eerste elpee "On Time" kwam uit in 1969.
Hun tweede elpee verscheen hetzelfde jaar.
"All The Girls In The World Beware" (1974) was hun laatste gouden elpee.
Hun tweede live elpee "Caught In The Act" kwam uit in 1975.

I don't need whole lots of money
I don't need a big fine car
I got everything that a man could want
I got more than I could ask for
I, I don't have to run around
I don't have to stay out all night
'Cause I got me a sweet, a sweet lovin' woman
And she knows just how to treat me right
Well my baby, she's alright
Well my baby, she clean-out-of-sight
Don't you know that she's
She's some kind of wonderful
She's some kind of wonderful, yes she is, she's...
She's some kind of wonderful, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahh
When I hold her in my arms
You know she sets my soul on fire
Oooh, when my baby kisses me
My heart becomes filled with desire
When she wraps her lovin' around me
About drives me out of my mind
Yeah, when my baby kisses me
Chill run up and down my spine
Oh, my baby, she's alright
My baby, she clean-out-of-sight
Don't you know that she is
She's some kind of wonderful
She's some kind of wonderful, yes she is
She's some kind of wonderful, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahh
Now is there anybody
Got a sweet little woman like mine
There got to be somebody
Got a, got a sweet little woman like mine, yeah
Can I get a witness, yeah
Can I get a witness
Oh, can I get a witness, yeah
Can I get a witness, ohhh
Can I get a witness, yeah
Can I get a witness, yes
I'm talking talking 'bout my baby
She's some kind of wonderful
Talking 'bout my baby
She's some kind of wonderful
Talking 'bout my baby
She's some kind of wonderful
Talking 'bout my baby, my baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
Talking 'bout my baby, my baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahhh my baby, by baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
Talking 'bout my baby, my baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
And I'm talking 'bout my baby, my baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
Talking 'bout my baby, my baby
(She's some kind of wonderful)
She's some kind of wonderful...

Can I get a witness?
I have a question to all the Grand Funk Railroad fans. To my knowledge, no live video exists for "Bad Time", and "Some Kind of Wonderful" back in the day? Is this correct, and if not, can someone show me a sight for an old school live performance of these guys on those two songs?
Man I love those two songs you mentioned here. Like you I would love to see either a live or studio version of them singing it. Perhaps someone has it and could let me know. Thank you!
I'm not specifically a Grand Funk Railroad fan, it's before my time, but you have to remember Video Killed the Radio Star, that was an 80's hit, and it means they didn't have MTV yet, bands didn't make videos back then, most videos are put together from stock footage, or shot later when videos became all the rage.
@@Raytrek79 Bet to differ, the Beatles were doing videos long before MTV.
Uhh the first music video was Elvis Presley jailhouse rock, when tv was black and white with 3 channels.
Backbeat!!!!!!!
Anyone out there who has an official explanation of the increase in pitch and tempo at 2:12? Sounds like an LP-error, but I'd like to know for sure.
and infinite multiverses just complicate everything...11...maybe we could deal with
