Mandy, I started having hot flashes at 42! They continued for about 10 years. Now I'm over 60 and I'm flash free and it really wasn't that bad.

I love the oat milk foundation! I have slightly dry skin no oiliness. Lasts all day, satin finish my shade is malt and I love it! My favourite foundation and I have a crap tone of fine lines :)

I still get hot flashes occasionally even at 60. First time I had one I was like “what torture is this?” And it got worse when people would ask why I was so red all the sudden. So I feel ya!!! The look your created in this video is beautiful as usual but I especially like it with your coloring!!!!

Beautiful! I have the foundation, concealer and highlighter in the same shades. I agree with you about the concealer. It just didn't mesh with my skin like I wanted it to. Could be useful on the face. The highlight is pretty, and watching you apply gave me a tip-it needs a little extra blending with the warmth of fingers. The foundation makes the skin look plump and healthy. Now I want to try a few of the powder products!

I just tried a sample of their oat milk foundation and fell in love. Definitely want that powder too - you went from dewy to satin and looked so beautiful.
I’m curious about the concealer. I have puffy under eyes so I don’t like a concealer that’s brightening since it just makes the puffiness stand out more.
I am about to start my third compact of the powder. It is my all time favorite. SOOOOO good! I wasn't the biggest fan of the concealer unfortunately.

Hey Mandy - I have watched several of your videos over the past years. You mentioned the red cheeks they look like butterfly wings I just wanted to let you know I’ve been dealing with chronic illness for eight years and I became auto immune positive with lupus and MS. Lupus and autoimmune disorders can cause the red cheeks. A lot of it can be related to gut health I don’t know if you’ve ever talked to a doctor about testing you for auto immune antibodies but it may be something you want to check out. A lot of times foods will trigger the red cheeks that I get I get them very often. And like I said it is very common with lupus as well as other autoimmune disorders - so I wanted to share this with you too give you an idea of what it might possibly be. Hopefully that’s not what it is but I wanted to let you know that it’s something you may want to consider testing for and also there is healing diets out there that can help you avoid the foods that cause the hot red flashes in the cheeks and it’s not always foods but it’s mostly foods that trigger for me sometimes it can also be chemicals or ingredients in skin care. Hey Laura! You are so sweet! I have had the red cheeks since I was a baby’s for sure. I have been tested for lupus since I have hypothyroidism and they are always on the lookout for other auto immune disorders. This is the first time they had gotten hot like that. I will continue to talk about it with my doctor though. Thank you for being on the lookout…it means a lot. ❤️
@@MandyDavisMUA, I have had red cheeks since I was a baby, too. My grandfather used to call me apple cheeks, because of this, and they are big! They've always had times when they were hot to the touch, sometimes just one, sometimes, both. It has intensified some with the onset of menopause, but it's usually during a hot flash, then calms back down. While I do have a few Autoimmune disorders, since I had the red cheeks before I got the autoimmune problems, I haven't noticed that my redness has gotten worse with them. So far, I haven't found anything that helps much, except for covering the redness with makeup. 🤷🏼♀️
I really like their eye palettes but wold love to know if you still recommend them? Maybe also buy the others and compare them for a video?
I am a bit hesitant to buy more since I didn't have the best luck with this one, but I am glad you love them!

I think the natural blush of your cheeks is wonderful. Let it be. Don't cover so much. There's sun-kissed cheeks, coming in from the winter cold cheeks, and your natural blush. Work with it.

What do you use to take the waterproof mascara off? I’ve tried various cleansers and micellar water, but I always find it difficult to take off and end up tugging at my eyes. I love the mascara itself though!
My Sephora Waterproof Makeup Remover works great taking this one off. I will say though that this particular one isn't near as tough to get off as other waterproof formulas; at least not for me. :)

What’s a tubing mascara and how does it different from other mascara?
It forms a "tube" around the lash and it can only be removed by using warm water. So, it's very water resistant, but much easier to take off than a traditional waterproof mascara.
Does the highlighter set? Or does it stay tacky?
It does set down more than other cream ones.
