My question is if you want to make an afghan do you do it in small squares joined together or just extend the pattern to the width and length you need?
Hello, is there a written or a verbal pattern at all? I am not sure what ch*** means. Do I need to chain in multiple of 3? How do you connect the color ribbons when you are finished?
@@SavannahSmiles0 I think they use the *** because the number of chains you make will depend on the size of your project. For patterns like these I try to write down the instructions as the video is playing. I have to stop and start a lot but usually manage to get it written down. Hope this helps.
@@mskanapaux kinda. Thank you. Did you by chance do this pattern. I have no idea how to secure the colors so that they don't come loose at the top. Slip stich strong enough?
@@SavannahSmiles0 I haven't made it yet but it might be my next project. I will be securing the chain section by slip stitching into the first stitch of the upper solid band . Then I will chain two and cut the thread and pull it through to lock it down. That's the way I end all my color changes. Of course I then weave the ends in.. hope this helps.
