I'm an 11 utr junior player and this racket is way too powerful. I can't step in and hit the ball or flatten anything out. After about 20 minutes the main strings start to move also which affects ur shots. I am using the 98. Will the 95 be any better because of the string pattern? I used to use the 2016 version pure aero vs but I can't find anything like it. Plz help!!!
@@TripAces vcore 95 Is not as demanding to play with, and is actually a little bit more forgiving than the vcore pro 97. Vcore pro is good when ur attacking but it's hard to defend with. Atleast that's my experience. I have not tried the vcore pro 100 however. That might be worth a try.

Thank you for this comprehensive comparison. I just finished a demo session between the 98 and 100. Your observations that the 98 plays a bit more stable than the 100 was spot on. You can feel the slight weight difference in the frames. The 100 was very easy to serve with, but since I’m a free swinger, balls were flying out with that frame. The 98 was slightly less powerful and a bit more control. Great to have your accurate impressions prior to the play test, so I can be more prepared prior to the hitting session.
Congrats on 10k subs. I think this channel offers something other don't, and you don't "teach down" to us like some kind of school headmaster. Very approachable and friendly demeanor. And a mix of content: technique, strategy, equipment, funny stories and exposure to real pros. Really enjoying all the videos. Other channels tend to focus on usually just one or two topics
Oh btw stop being so brutally honest in your review Karue! I bought the old (2nd) version of the vcore 98. The black one. I want to keep loving it, so keep out of my head! Haha joking, you're a totally different type of player so it makes a lot of sense that you'd prefer different (versions of) rackets. Keep it up!

Hi Karue, great review. I especially like that you mention how the racquets will suit different players with different swing speeds. That’s the differentiator for me of this channel and your reviews. Many thanks.
i switched to the Ezone 98 tour because of you! And I loved it a lot. Since you said you liked the Vcore 95, now I have to try it. Love your content! Keep up the good work!

They obviously haven't found this one. It probably helps, so imma say it again here: THIS is my favourite tennis channel on UA-cam! 😉😀👍🏻
Great Review Karue - Thank you very much and great to see you hit a mean ball. Questions: 1) On defense of heavy balls, how was the plowthrough with the 95 and 98? - I play with the 18x20 Wilson Blade which is heavier and helps me defend well against heavy balls 2) How was the connection and the feel of the ball with the 95 and 98? 3)The swingweights are low - how did you find this? I guess Yonex want a racquet that is fast through the air, and so the s/w is built to be low
Great job with the reviews Karue. You could probably play well with a frying pan. I saw your review on the Head Radical MP and was wondering if you are going to review the new Radical Pro. Also, how would you compare the new Vcore 95 with the last version?
Hey Karue great vid. Did you get a chance to try the previous VCore 95 model? Curious as to how it may compare to the new one. Could be covered in the specific review. Looking forward to it
Hi, question please and i appreciate how much detail you go through which is very nice. We are all familiar with the string pattern, however beyond that curious how open or controlled is the center of the stringed? So an example, ezone 100 and PA are both 16x19 with 6 mains in the throat. However ezone 100 is far more controlled in the center. So that kinda observation on these frames
How would you compare it to the Ezone and which one do you like the most? Also a comparison with the new radical and speed would be very interesting. Which version of the vcore would you recommend for a beginner?
Karue belo Review, pode me ajudar? A melhor raquete para meu jogo é sem dúvida a Pure Aero mas o preço do braço está alto.... A Vcore 100 é uma opção viável? Pelo stifiness teórico me parece ser uma raquete dura, na prática o que vc achou do conforto?
Can you give a bit more detail on differences between Ezone 98 Tour and New VCore 95!? Thanks. Loving the channel. Good to see high level players making content!
Hi Karue, really love your videos! You’ve shown very professional opinions for not only about the racquets but also about different type of needs! I wanna know how would you like the ezone98 tour and this new vcore95. I’m using ezone98, I love it for the crispy feel, but sometimes it seems a little bit too powerful for me, do you think the new vcore98 is a better choice?
Hi, i´m an intermedite lvl player. Would you recomend me the vcore 95 or the 98? i have one hand backhand and ive heard you say that you prefer smaller head sizes for the 1hbh but i dont know if that would make the sweetspot too small for me (as i said intermediate level). What are your thoughts? thanks!!
Been looking for a new racquet to try. What do you string the vcore 95 up with or have any specific string recommendations for it? Will probably try to demo one.
Brilliant preview, Karue. What you say about the 95 really resonates with me. I am a 50 years old player around the 4.5 mark, and I had been trying to convince myself that I should switch to 100 sq. in. frames for the past year to get more tolerance and free power, and found it very hard to keep a ball in court. I either had to swing slower, or put a lot more shape on my shots. Went back to a 95 sq.i n. (16x19 pattern), and the ball goes where I want even when swinging hard. With a decent technique and footwork, a 95 is still a relevant option, even at club level.
Hey Karue. Great video. I’ve ordered the 100 as I’m currently playing with the pure aero but have heard with the vcore you can swing out at the ball a bit more and still keep some control. If you had to play with the 100 would you add a bit of weight somewhere or any other alterations?
I realize this video is about two months old, but I hope you read this and see it fit to reply--I'm wondering if you have ever played with a Yonex Regna. It seems to be generally restricted to Japan, but playing with Osaka-san, perhaps you've had the opportunity. I would be interested in your thoughts on it... thx!
Thanks for the reviews. I'm still confused about sizing. What sort of player should go for a 95, 98, or 100? Is this something that can be defined by NTRP level and experience? I get the sense that the more advanced you are the smaller the head size. I currently use a Pure Drive 2018 100 and Ezone 2020 100 and these work well for me and I've improved my game in the last year, now I'm curious when I should "move up" to a smaller size.
I'm italian... And i understand very Little of the video.... So i have a question ( i don't know if the answer there Is in the video) ... Can you classify these 3 rackets according to the Power in the flat serve ?
Also a 16x20 player here, although I don't mind 18x20s either. But 16x20 is a bit more balanced towards my style, as 18x20 can be hard when on defense, depending on string spacing and weight and etc. Which racquet in the yonex line do you recommend for someone that hits with an eastern forehand? I use a single handed backhand, and again hits fairly flat but also like throwing in nasty slices. I like to drive the ball so most of my misses are ones that go long rather than netting. 310g is probably the highest weight class for me to play comfortably with. I think I can relate to the current Vcore about the ball flying. I tested my friend's Vcore 95, one in hyper G and the other in poly tour strike and it just felt erratic (for me anyway). I can't control the ball. The string bed felt like an on and off hot spot. It was almost like swinging a floor tile against the ball. I wasn't able to feel the ball sink into the strings. It would just rebound off and fly out.
So.... 100 = beginner, 98 = intermediate, 95 = pro Is the head shape less square than previous yonex racquets? Looks like it's more rounded at the top.
Have been playing with Vcore 95 mainly for 2 years now, with some weight (on handle and hoop) for stability and plow, and I love it! I tried the Ezone Tour, but still prefer the Vcore 95, due to control, feel with good power (love it for serving too). The new one seems to be more stable with a thicker beam, and hopefully it has not lost its feel, but I will certainly try. Imo more versatile than Ezone Tour (which I still keep in my bag for extra stability and sweetspot) and the new one with thicker beam probably closer to Ezone as well... how does feel compared to Ezone Tour?
I’ve played with the yonex rqsi for more than 10 years . I’m about to buy new ones. What would be the most similar . I’ve always played wit 95 and 16x20 so the vcore is clear for me . But I’m curious about the ozone
How does the 95 compare to the previous vcore 95? By the way, if you switch to the 95, i am open for a donation of the ezone tour you are playing with now.
Hello. Why is the yonex vcore98 (305g) is more arm friendly than babolat pure drive/aero? Is that because of the stiffness of the racket, which is afaik 66RA?
2021 Head Radical 360+ PRO vs 2021 VCore 95 similarity/difference? I have Head Extreme 360 + Pro what is excellent, I like the power very much but I would need more accuracy.
Did you demo both? What did you end up getting? I’ve been Pro Staff for years, but I hit with someone the other day and SWORE it’s the best racket he’s ever hit with.
Hey Karue, just wondering what your racquet is these days? You have to be getting mixed up with all the racquet reviews. Are you using the ezone tour or still with the head pro speed?

Thanks for the reviews. I'm still confused about sizing. What sort of player should go for a 95, 98, or 100? Is this something that can be defined by NTRP level and experience? I think I can relate to the current Vcore about the ball flying. I tested my friend's Vcore 95, one in hyper G and the other in poly tour strike and it just felt erratic (for me anyway).

I like this one more but to be honest I had very little playing time with the old one
Super comparison, are these VCORES also suitable for one handed backhand players?
Yes they are! Super good for one handers
Are you gonna review the 2023 versions of these rackets?
Hello. Why is the yonex vcore98 (305g) is more arm friendly than babolat pure drive/aero? Is that because of the stiffness of the racket, which is afaik 66RA?
Congratulations on 10k subscribers 🥳
Thank you!
Have you played with the 95D? If so how differently does it feel compared to the newer 95s?
Very different swing speed.
2021 Head Radical 360+ PRO vs 2021 VCore 95 similarity/difference? I have Head Extreme 360 + Pro what is excellent, I like the power very much but I would need more accuracy.
Can you please compare the vcore 95 with the pro staff 97 v13? Which do you think in your opinion is better?
Can't really compare every single racket with each other hahha definitely very different rackets
Did you demo both? What did you end up getting? I’ve been Pro Staff for years, but I hit with someone the other day and SWORE it’s the best racket he’s ever hit with.
How do the new 98 compare to the older Vcore 98 SW model? Great video!
Not really sure about the sw model. New one is great
Would you switch to the vc95 rather than the ezone tour?
Hey Karue, just wondering what your racquet is these days? You have to be getting mixed up with all the racquet reviews. Are you using the ezone tour or still with the head pro speed?
I use it all
@@KaruesellHQ LOL
Is the first raquet the Vcore 95 Galaxy Black edition from 2019? I didn't get that part.
i m planning to switch to yonex vcore 100, current user of prince phantom pro 100. i had wrist tendonitis issue in past, will vcore be comfortable?
How was the Vcore 100 on mishits ? Was it stable if you mishit the ball ? Also how was the 100 at net ? Stability and control at net ?
Pretty stable to be honest but it is a bit light for me. With a bit more weight it can be a very solid racket
Hey Karue are you switching to the yonex vcore 95 or sticking with the ezone tour?
Not sure yet
