It’s nice to have that extra fabric around the edge. Right now I’m working on one that is a little difficult to get those squares at the edge.

Egyptian cotton fibres are much longer, which only adds to their strength and durability, they purer as not processed as are the ecological cotton floss they finer in natural fibres which adds to their softer textile feel .. very easy to work with … that’s the basic layman difference to standard ecological cotton threads which are more processed in creating .. in simple more organic than standard cotton.
