That's basically Monogreen Ramp in Pioneer. Ugins and Ulamogs and other big mana threats powered out with the help of Castle Garenbrig and Shrine of the Forsaken Gods and tons of ramp spells.
Jet Set Radio I don’t think it’s very good in this deck regardless.. Not enough mana in this deck for it’s shock value. Not to mention, this deck does better with Gurmag Angler
I don't usually comment on much, but the stunning quality of a deck tech with smooth and easy to understand visuals, the music and vocal quality, AND ROTATING A SPLIT CARD SO WE COULD READ IT? I want so many more of these!!!!
That was a fun watch! If I get suckered into Pioneer, then this is definitely where I am going to start. Also, loving the animations in this one! Really ups the overall quality of the video, Prof.
I've been playing a similar deck recently. I haven't gotten around to uploading the list to anything but I'll share it tonight when I get off work. I'm using 1 Blast Zone and 3 Field of Ruin to help smooth out my matchups. Land destruction is essential against Eldrazi Ramp, which is a huge deck in Pioneer right now.
Dredgeless dredge is what got me really into pioneer, I'm surprised I've never heard of undercity informer. Will have to try tinkering with this list :D
i love my graftdiggers cages won again'st really similiar deck like this with em last friday with my angels. And life loss is no problem with multiple lifelinking angels (i run 4 grafdiggers on side and 4 remorseful clerics on main) My local meta is full of graveyard decks so 8 graveyard hate cards are must have. only removal i run is exile effects.
As someone who has been playing this deck for a while, I do not agree 100% with this list. It really wants Scrapheap Scrounger and Gurmag mainboard. Having a lot of different ways to reanimate Amalgams and just get a recurrable beater from the yard is super important to the deck, which is the case for Scrounger. Deathrite and Undercity Informer are not necessary to the deck. Creeping Chills and board presence give you good resilience against aggro decks, and given the fast nature of the deck, is not fast enough to be conducive to the overall strategy. Informer is also just a “win more” card. I’ve had a lot of games where I dump more than half my library in a game without it. I also do recommend some lands that create blue such as Watery Grave or Botanical Sanctum, so you can cast Amalgams and Narcomoebas in your hand should you need to. As for the sideboard, Caustic Caterpillar is a must. Having an easily searchable way to deal with Leyline of the Void and Rest in Peace are essential.
The graphic design and overall presentation of the video is really good! There is one problem I noticed, however, being that the Creeping Chill graphic about the starting life total displays 9 for your opponent, when it should show 8 (3*4=12; 20-12=8). Also, the graphic for your life total doesn't update when talking about 4 copies rather than 2.
