Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies, with a surface area of about 20 square feet in adults. When we are cut or wounded, our skin begins to repair itself through a complex, well-coordinated process. Sarthak Sinha takes us past the epidermis and into the dermis to investigate this regenerative response.

The body is a miracle. We think of ourselves as one lonely person, but each and everyone of us is a myriad of co-operating cells - a huge complex system of small parts who have slowly learned to strengthen and support eachother to create quite an incredible whole being, capable of consciousness and art and altruism. just don't pick your skin no matter what. have a trained professional do it if necessary. also actively research what products and ingredients work best for you and work on a regime to prevent acne. if you notice that your skin has turned darker when a pimple is gone, that isn't acne. It's postinflammatory hyperpigmentation; or more color after swelling and it will fade over time while scars stick forever.
