Hello from Yuba City! We're not sure about the fire mountain moniker either, and it certainly isn't in Sacramento! That mountain range is the Sutter Buttes, the smallest mountain range in the world. Thanks for visiting :)
It’s called Fire Mountain because to the Northwest of the casino you can see Sutter Buttes, the smallest mountain range in the world. It’s about 17 miles from the casino. At certain times of the year it looks like the mountain is on fire when the sun is going down behind it. The local Indians believed the first 2 human beings were created there.
Hi Matt, it was me, Carol from the Beau Rivage, we talked about Kraken and where I might find one in Fremont Street. Glad you found one at the Hard Rock. Can’t believe you’re almost in Vegas! And thanks again for sharing your journey with us. The highlight of each day! Safe travels!
Thunder valley is only 10 mins from Hard Rock. It’s our local and we go at least twice a week. They don’t allow filming (you can sneak) but I find that we win more at Thunder. We’ve had many handpays and big wins. Hard Rock is always tough. It’s nice, clean and smells good but always looks like a ghost town and is really hard to win at!
Mate I don't normally comment but I just wanna send this message to thank you for all the hours of entertainment you've provided me all the way from New Zealand. Ive throughly enjoyed this series and the amount of effort you've put in to these videos with the help of Jules I believe has been nothing short of fantastic really top tier stuff. It can't be easy timewise with all the traveling etc. Best of luck with the travels and gambling ahead ill be watching and that handpay is just around the corner I can feel it 🙏. Btw your channel should have 200k plus not 20k! Anyways best of luck and safe travels.
You really missed a trick not too Drive up the Pacific Coast Highway one , I know it may have saved a few miles , but Boy is it the most beautiful drives in the world 🌎.
@gboyce975 No I havent, I criticised a channel for making content purely in an attempt to gain subscribers rather than passion for the subject matter. That is the reality but of course the haters twist it to suit their agenda. I'll vlog whatever I want regardless of who has done it before.
Bit of a mirage this casino Your driving through fields and trees Then slapped in the middle of no where is this casino lol Its a nice place and only opened a couple years ago
I admire you fortitude, I wouldn't make it driving across this country. I took my mom to Vegas once and as she wouldn't fly we went by train, which passes Vegas and goes into LA and then you have to tak the Greyhound bus back to Vegas...Put me on a bus plane. But looks like you're enjoying yourself.
Was hoping for a “RRREEETRIGGAH!” during Chica Bonita. But I did yell it myself. Been to (cue the dramatic thunder clap) FIRE MOUNTAIN a couple times. It’s the closest casino you’ve visited to where we live in the Bay Area. But we’ve been going to Thunder Valley for years, which you may have seen to the right if you took 65 to get to 80 on the way to Reno. But they’re strict on filming, too. Good luck in Nevada. At least there will be Budweiser at all hours.
Dang. When I heard "and here's what happened" I thought for sure a f'ing handpay was upcoming. Very much looking forward to Reno and Tahoe. Fingers crossed for that elusive big win. p.s. not sure I have heard casino music that clearly before during your outro; Pink Floyd was a nice soundtrack :)
It’s going to be interesting what kind of hotel Hard rock builds on the strip, hopefully it will look like the one in Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Florida 🙄… maybe try your luck on the $5 machines … Cheers 🍻🥃🎰💰💵🇨🇦
Hard Rock Casino Property Status does not carry to Sister Casinos with the Hard Rock name. Seminole Properties have their own program (Wild Card), Atlantic City has their own program, and other properties have their own respectively. With Hard Rock, You can’t share them nationwide at other properties. Here in Florida, the Seminole Wild Card Program benefits work shared at both Hard Rock Properties in Hollywood and Tampa as well as the Original Seminole Properties in Hollywood, Coconut Creek, Brighton, and Immokalee. The irony of this is that the Seminole Indians own Hard Rock International as a whole.
@stevebyers5541 Tables were great overall. Sometimes, it was a challenge finding the right bet limits in my range. I focus on blackjack only and then fool around with slots. Cheers!
I know most casinos don't allow you go film inside, but is it possible to get more footage of some of the inside casinos spaces if only just a little bit? Love this by the way, I'm just asking.
Not sure what else I could have shown you here, you've basically seen it all. Also, for 1 night stays with everything going on it is so manic there is little time to film anything else. The fact I've managed to produce 22 daily vlogs is a miracle. So in short, no 🤣😁👍🏼
Matt when you drive from Cali too Las Vegas , I think you pass the Airline grave yard where they put all the planes too rest , as in the desert they don’t deteriorate too much because the air is so dry , they’re thousands of them , it’s really cool too stop by if your passing that way , we drove from Las Vegas Too Monterey some 700 miles , so I feel you and Jules Pain 😮
I'll never understand the hang-up with filming - it's free publicity, FFS. Some welcome it with open arms and others are just tossers. Hey-ho, it's their loss! Crack on, loving the VLOG. Thanks
Matt, I've been a slot tech for over 20 years. Vegas strip casino machines are tight, way tighter than these small casinos. The small casino machines don't get a lot of play, and that's more important than what % the machine is set at. The more money going into the machine, the better chance of a handpay.
@@MattBridger Also, the hold % is simply a target number for the machine, doesn't apply to every single spin. For example, let's say the hold is 10%. Someone hits a $3000 JP. Theoretically, now the machine's hold is maybe 6%. The machine will eventually get back to 10% and that's where the losing happens making it seem like a tight machine. And vice versa, If a machine is holding too much, it will eventually pay out more than usual to get back to that 10%.

Another great vlog. Thanks for sharing. You're in the homestretch now! I'm really looking forward to seeing the Reno vlog. Be safe and good luck!

Hard Rock Sacramento looks REALLY nice inside!!! We will have to put it on our list of places to visit!
Nice Vlog as always. Soon be Vegas time and hopefully have a beer

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Never seen the Kraken slots before , nice win on it !
The handpay will come I’m sure. The Kraken slot looked good.
Still loving the journey. Looking forward to the next segment.
I always enjoy the Hard Rock properties. It's always a great vibe from my experience.
I've never had any luck at that casino. So sad I couldnt get out there to say hi! Loved watching this whole trek!
Really moving along now, it will be interesting to hear the total mileage at the end of the trip.
You really missed a trick not too Drive up the Pacific Coast Highway one , I know it may have saved a few miles , but Boy is it the most beautiful drives in the world 🌎.
Another British Vegas vlogger did a series traveling PCH before hitting Vegas a few years back
@CharlesMichael-fo9uf Point is, he's gone in on other vloggers who've made content a little to similar to his. So I don't see him doing that one.

We have a Hard Rock casino here in Vancouver Canada
Appreciate you keeping it real matt . A genuine vlog. Looking forward to reno . You are almost home ( vegas) keep it together bridger !!

Fire mountain was in your heart all along hahaha

Matt, hope you tour several casinos in the Reno area - there is a lot of interesting history there.....
Part 21 covers The Row which was by far my favourite area.
@@MattBridgergood - can't wait to see it!
Matt you are gone to Reno by now but interested in your take on Thunder Valley in Lincoln, CA.
I didn't go there but Jules did. He said it was nice, slightly older but busier than Hard Rock.
It was odd, I got copyrighted for the track before (hence my slight background music addition) but not Pink Floyd. Go figure!
Maybe someone burned down that mountain matt = no more mountain , hence "Fire Mountain" 😇😁
Somehow I think this is going to become a thing... #Ididbridgeracrossamerica....

@HC-sb1ru that’s what I heard but wasn’t sure if that was final. 👍🏻

Did you smell the cattle on highway 5 then saw the thousands of them a mile later 😂
Yes!!!! It was strong enough to kill a small child. 😂
@@juleskazen7057 I know 🤣
@juleskazen7057 how have the black jack tables been, what are your top 3? Do you play any other table games?

Beau, L'aubergs, and Mohegan.

Sounds great but sadly no time.
@@MattBridger you can film it , I believe from the road you will drive by it
How much would you say you've spent on petrol between you this trip?
At a rough guess, $1500.

I have plenty of time. It's a marathon not a sprint 😁
Why didnt u go to thunder valler casino. Hard rock sucks
Jules went there.

@HC-sb1ru Yes, the casinos love when "coin in" is high. Coin-in is simply the amount wagered, it doesn't take into account how much is won or lost
