Nice presentation, Lee! I'm working a boat purchase (Sept '21) with Lee Cappelletti, at Tom-N-Jerry's Boat Center, up next to Twin Bridges Marina, as you drive over to Anacortes from Burlington, on WA State Route 20. Lee is very professional, one of the best experts on Hewescraft boats out there... and not pushy. Lee is helping me to feel very confident in what I hope to be purchase of my first Hewescraft... maybe even this 290 Adventure, or one like it. Thanks Lee!
@@TomnJerrysBoatCenter WOW.. that's much more reasonable than I thought. We are looking at a new Sea Sport 28 Commander and they are in the 400K to 500K range and up. We are selling our C-Dory now as it was just not a big enough boat. And it's a 2021. Love to sea trail one of these. We sea Trailed a Aspen Cat and it was a amazing.
Any way they would sell that Boat down here in the North East. I never seen one of these here. A perfect Boat for these Waters here all the way up to the Maine Coast
i think ur looking to pay at least 30-50k+ extra for the Kingfisher with a slight edge on fit n finish going to the KF, whereas performance will be similar…….best bang for ur dollars is Hewescraft unless ur pockets r deep Ill go with a Wooldrige Bloodsport or a North River SXL….again these are the Lexus-Mercedes of Boats, Hewescraft is like a Toyota/Honda that gives u best bang for ur dollars….
Did he say 8000 dry weight. Who the hell could afford to run that thing. You'd be looking at a 4 to 500 fuel bill a day. Don't get me wrong, this boat is beautiful and I would love to be running my guests out to the westcoast on this thing. It'll have to go on my dreamboat list haha.
If you can afford this boat you won't have an issue with the fuel bill... just sayin... love this boat. A far cry from our C-Dory in ever aspect, specially fuel. But if I was big bucks:-)

"5/16 inch chine - seriously? C'mon Hewes get with it. A more robust reverse chine makes all the difference, your competitors hulls are the standard.
how does the Hewes 29 Adventure compare to a Kingfisher 2825 and 3025 destination in cost and build

Kingfisher is junk in comparison and made in Canada. Massive VAT tax. These are made in WA.
Should make the sink cover panel on a hinge then it has a secured place just an idea…
what an absolute beauty...the boat i mean ha ha
Maximum hp 600 I would think maybe 800 ?

Boat weight doesn't really translate to increased fuel cost.
