I came to see whether does the train stop at all :)
just to explain the shot at 0.54 - it is a retired couple or a family travelling across country in their campervan. They stay in one place for few days and use the towed car(gypsy) to do local run and then move on. I have seen in Australia. The towed car in above shot is not a rope but a steel rod
If in one coach chain pulling is happen then how train loco pilot will come to know that in this coach only chain pulling is done..... plz reply
For example if I pulled the chain in s2 coach then how the loco pilot will get to know that in s2 coach only chain pulling has been done. ..
From which coach the chain pulling is done from particular down to the coach Air pressure sound will comes out and releases by hearing of sound will they find out, then RPF or guards will find out them who pulls the chain in coach...
Loco pilot honks three times to alert RPF and Gaurd.
Now your question is how RPF will find the coach in which chain is pulled? :- In ICF coach the ACP flaps will be activated above the buffer, :- in LHB you can the see ACP indicator which is coloured in red and green now the RPF and Gaurd will get down from train for searching from two opposite side of the train to fix the activated indicator or flap then they will inform loco pilot about fixing..

Chain pulling bypass karne ka option sirf EMU trains me hi hota hai baki trains me chain pulling engine se bypass nahi ho sakti balki proper coach se hi release ya isolate ki ja sakti hai

Actually air pressure automatically kuch time me drop ho jata hai jis se brake release ho jata hai isliye engine detach karne k baad coach ko hand brake ya wedges laga k and chain se lock kar k safe kiya jata hai jis se wo roll down na ho....
Everyone says that chain pulling is illegal and is punishable, then why are they installed? If its for emergency situation then it should be also mentioned. I've seen many people who think that you should never pull the chain even if you're dying in the train. Calling it "always illegal" has changed the definition of the purpose of chain.

I need further info on this. You say once a chain is pulled, brakes are applied. But suppose a train is running at high speed, eg. 110+kmph and someone pulls the chain. Then as u said, brakes will be applied immediately. This would derail the train as brakes wud be applied at high speed. Kindly clarify. And make a new video on train braking process while travelling in a high speed.
The brake pressure is uniformly released from the pipe, hence the brakes are applied evenly, not in one jerk. So the train will slow down first before coming to a complete stop.
