I'm an actual florentine 😊 absolutely flats and breezy dresses for a summer in Firenze, the cobblestones are tricky and it gets very very hot! The outfits are very nice! 💕 Unfortunately many italian women have lost the romantic feminine style that foreigners think when they picture italian summer style. You may catch some attention (I know I do, as I have the same style as you!) but in a positive sense. Hats are not very used in the city, but they can be useful for the sun. Love the modest feminine style you display, I wish more women embraced it 💕 if you need tips, ask away!

@@SarahKathleenRomantic I think you should definitely wear the hat, it's such a beautiful hat, and who knows? You may start (restart?) a trend in wearing gorgeous hats over there!
So glad my comment was helpful 😊 there are many beautiful little places in the city: Mercato Centrale (for sure!),Finisterrae, Gustapizza, Menagère, all the little bars in Piazza Santo Spirito to have an authentic aperitivo, Locanda degli Aldobrandini...just Google them 😉 and the best tip is always ask - or follow - the locals! Don't be afraid, we love our city and they'll recommend their favorite spots :)

These are all fun. I can confirm flats are a must, and a hat is so helpful. As others have shared, wear the hat on the plane to get it there. I also recommend choosing a color palette to coordinate all your pieces. I also highly recommend a cross body bag if not a waist belt or back pack as they’re so practical for city navigation. Also, I am cautious wearing white bottoms when I travel bc I need pants I can wear repeatedly and I don’t trust white will stay clean. Have a great trip!

Yes, I can confirm that you definitely need flats, especially for Florence which is a very pedestrianised city full of cobles!!! 🙈 Those sunglasses are perfection!!! 😎👏😍
My favourites were outfits 1, 3 and 4!!! YES to those floral shorts for outfit 3 although I would also take the linen shorts as they can switch up both outfits 3 and 4!!!) ☺💕
Don't forget a red lippy! It can easily take your day outfit into the night in just a few seconds!!! 💄💋

The J.Crew ballerina lace up flats just came in and they are super cute so I'm glad I found some Italy-style flats that will be comfy for the trip! Im packing this week and omg..I don't like packing light lol ( I may or may not be taking up some space in my husbands luggage) 😂

My last trip I wanted to bring a hat also, so I wore it on the plane. I also just wanted to do a carry on, so I planned my outfits around the hat. I also chose an outfit to wear on the plane that would take up the most packing room-including wearing my duck boots on the plane just to save room. 😂 We are on vacation now at our vacation house in the Ozarks. Just to give you an idea-The town was designed to have the feel and look of the Catskills-and it does.
Wearing the hat on the plane is looking like my best option at the moment, if I decided to take it 💗 I'm not a fam of packing light but I have to do it this trip 😂 omg I hope you have a wonderful rest of your vacation! It sounds so relaxing and beautiful 🤍
I haven't been to Italy yet, but close - Monaco. I think beautiful flowy dresses by the water in the hot sun is a great choice. Definitely flats if it's anything like Nice and Monaco!

You will love Florance. I went earlier in the year. One tip,if you are going to all the museums get the city pass . It will save hours of queueing. Xx

I love your French girl style but I think Italian style really Really suits you. You look especially gorgeous. Italian fashion is a little more free and has more whimsy to it than French stuff which is totally you. If. Even when you see an Italian lady dressed all head to toe in all black Armani and those huge black sunglasses, it has a totally different feel than a French lady doing the same in head to toe Dior. I can totally see you and Paul riding around in these outfits on a mint green Vespa in the Italian countryside!
Italian style has taken over my wardrobe 💕 I do prefer less structure and more flowy, loose fabrics 🫶
