The bottom of the Butler does look smooth, but I went ahead and put electrical tape on the bottom of the Butler and trimmed the tape to match the Butler's underside shape as a thin, clean buffer between the head stock. And also, that way you do not need to use the black plastic washers. Thanks for the vid!!!

24/22/21 frets has nothing to do with scale length.

But more frets in a smaller scale can make it feel “cramped” this lends to our preferences. The 24 fret Gibson I had was also a 24 3/4 scale - felt wrong.
